I stayed at the Tuscon as part of a honeymoon trip. Champagne and chocolates were waiting in the room which was really nice with the best bed I've ever slept in. Really liked the location, we walked to Fisherman's wharf and Pier 33 for our trip to Alcatraz. Good location for local transport. Staff helpful and friendly. I used their...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 13 January 2017

A great welcome from Kristen on our arrival made for a quick check in. The doorman so helpful and friendly in assisting. The room we had was smallish, clean, tidy, warm with nicely appointed bathroom and a comfortable bed. The location is just fantastic, a quick walk to Fisherman's Wharf, offers a great aray of things to do and restaurants...

We stayed there after a problem occurred elsewhere on our trip and the staff and room were very nice. We were there on a weekend so no construction was going on, so if you are planning to be there doing the week you want to ask about status of current renovations. Great location near fisherman's wharf and a good restaurant...

Note: This hotel was under construction at the time of our stay. They halted the construction on the weekend but it resumed on Monday. The entire lobby had been relocated to a nice temporary space. That being said we stayed in a nice room (suite with a separate living space and a pull out couch) with a REALLY comfortable bed...

Do not spend your dollars here ... total lack of customer service. Read recent comments of others ... no need to repeat. We stayed because of location, "price lined” up, & parking appeared available, turned out to be ONLY Valet (expensive). Price not “special” without free parking (a must in this area). Will NEVER GO BACK. Some on staff were...

It's disappointing to read that this was not the case for you. Please know your feedback did not fall on deaf ears. Warm Regards, Nikki Carlson General Manager

The hotel was under construction, there was no clear sign of where the entrance. We stood in the lobby trying to figure this out before some other guest showed us the way. We had to carry our large bags up the stairs because the elevator was not available during our stay. We checked in late in the evening, and the...

We stayed at the Tuscan last week. We couldn't agree more with the comments. STAY AWAY. It was as bad as everyone says. No water during the first day, entrance up a back metal stair case (with no help with baggage most of the time), construction noise and dust, and generally very unsympathetic management. The special touch was the note...

The hotel was under construction during our stay. Looked like they were updating the lobby. We had to do our check-in in a board room. I guess tried their best to make it convenient as possible! I found the evening staff had no personality, but morning and day staff made up for it with warm, friendly personalities. Very accommodating. Helped...

Just arrived for a three night stay to find a building site which we were not warned about. Staff are trying manfully to cope with disgruntled guests. Best advice is to avoid for now, but should be good when the renovations are complete

Arrived with my family at 2am on a Saturday. I had been in contact with the hotel twice as there was notice that the checkin closed and I wanted to be sure we could check in so late. I was assured that we could, would have been nice and easy thing to let us know of the major renovation that...
