My husband and I enjoyed our stay. We had excellent time. Everything was right about the place. We liked our room, it was number 504. It was quiet, the bed was comphotable, good shower, coffee machine. It was handy we were able to print our boarding passes in the lobby. The thing we liked the most was the staff: They all...

My husband loved this hotel. He will probably choose this one over the other he typically stays at on business. I, however, as a person who has a hard time with hotels, did not love it. The front desk wasn't as friendly as other Marriotts on our trip (not necessarily UNfriendly; they just didn't go out of their way to...

Lunabeem - Thank you for taking time to share your honest feedback. I know it can be frustrating to come to San Francisco and have to deal with the urban sounds that our busy metropolitan city has to offer, though we are currently scheduled to modernize our exterior windows at the end of this year to help subdue the city...

My first time in San Francisco and I wanted a good central location with restaurants, bars, shopping and access to sightseeing. This was the perfect location! My BFF was flying in meeting me but her flight came in hours prior to my arrival. She text me to say they accommodated her early arrival and they really made her check in...

Unless you get a hotel in a newer building, everything in San Fran will be smaller than you're used to. This is no exception. The rooms are quite small for a family of four. Even the beds seemed smaller than normal. But, as far as location, it was perfect!! Walking distance to some great restaurants, Union Square & cable cars....

This hotel is a modest walk from Union Square. Rooms are 'city sized' and whilst plenty large enough are small by US standards. Location is quiet for central San Francisco. Hotel has a cosy feel - it's not a large establishment like the nearby Marriott Marquis. There are plenty of nearby bars and restaurants. The reason this hotel gets a...

We stay st a lot of Courtyards during our frequent travels. This one has been recently refurbished in a great location. The room was fresh and modern. The staff was friendly and helpful. And the price was right!

The hotel had a very convenient location ( UInion Square ), for big. Is sight seeing and the shopping centres . The front desk staff were very helpful. The breakfast options were a little scarce. But the overall experience and service and cleanliness was great.

Thank you for sharing your experience. The Courtyard Union Square is a great launching off point for many of the cities best attractions and still has a small local neighborhood feel.

I felt like the recent basic renovations were trying to get some lipstick on a pig. The place is really old and the space is tiny and crammed. Given my elite status with Marriott, I got an upgraded room that was better. However, the shower would not work well, 2 of the 3 charging ports did not work. The USB...

On a recent trip to New Zealand from Portland Oregon we missed our international flight because of bad weather. This resulted in needing to stay in San Francisco a night. Cramped room: when I sat at the desk, my wife had to climb over the bed to get to the window, narrow closet, luggage stand jammed under the reading lamp. The bathroom is economy-class cruiseship size with no elbow room whatsoever. No light switch in the bathroom: a motion detector turns the bright light on, and takes eight minutes to...

"Jabx" I am sorry to hear that your room did not meet your expectations. Being a hotel built in 1930 and in a city where real estate is a premium, our unique floor plans are smaller than what today's traveler typically experiences. With regards to the sensor light in the bathroom; we all agree that was a poor design decision...
