The hotel has a great location: close to Union Square. The rooms are basic but well appointed. The staff of the hotel are not the most customer service focused of staff I ever encountered... But considering price and location I had a good stay

This place is a true find when you want a little inn in a big city. What impressed me the most were the details you can only find in a small hotel. There are a lot of hand painted flowers on the walls of the bedrooms and hallways, making it such a sweet environment. The staff were very pleasant, the...

Stayed two nights at this hotel. The front desk was very helpful in accommodating all our needs. Breakfast was simple but delicious. Parking was directly across the street $30.00 per day. Very close to downtown embarcadero and Chinatown. Very cosy atmosphere and quiet. Would love to stay here again.

What a gorgeous hotel this is. Art lovers and Francophiles delight. You are greeted by Joan of Arc when you enter and the walls are covered with originals and special touches such as the painted decorations around fittings. Each floor is dedicated to a different French artist and the breakfast room is a work of art in itself, filled with...

What an adorable hotel! The people are nice and I felt like I was staying in a hotel in France! The restaurant is really cute too. You get a complimentary breakfast! What a charming hotel, very reminiscent of hotels in Europe. Yes, the rooms are compact & cozy, but comfortable. Each is uniquely decorated. The breakfast is included with several delicious options. I would definitely stay again and would recommend for a brief, romantic getaway.

Well decorated. My room was small (just like Europe) but the quality of the room (well appointed, excellent artwork, outstanding staff) more than made up for it. Everything was super- Highly recommended. So close to everything. Can drop rental car across the street. Restaurant was superb. Wonderful breakfast.

We love this hotel. The location near Union Square, the parade route for the Chinese New Year, the fun French flavor, the reasonable prices and the Jeanne D'Arc restaurant that serves a very nice continental breakfast are great. The cozy rooms are truly cozy, but it was an inside room that was very quiet and clean. The restaurant unfortunately has...

Thank you dear Chris A for the good review of our small hotel. Glad you enjoyed your stay with us. No vegetarian offerings on our Prix fixe but if asked, our cook would have been happy to oblige. Too bad you did not notice, right away, the damage on your car, the problem would have been, then, easy to solve...
