This seems more like a B&B than an hotel. The staff is friendly and very helpful, breakfast is included and it´s à la carte, not a buffet, and it´s good!. The rooms aren´t very big but are comfortable. The bathroom was modern, even though the rest of the building has a Belle Epoque feel to it. It is also in...

Great location and reasonable price for San Francisco. If you like a small European boutique feel this is the place for you. Rooms are charming, a full breakfast is included. Their dining room for dinner is terrific and a real bargain.

We really liked everything about this place, from the pleasant service to the central location to the pretty artwork everywhere to the breakfast to the comfy bed. The room was small, but clean and romantic. It was a little piece of paradise on the corner of Bush and Powell. The restaurant on the basement was probably the prettiest place we...

This is a bit of France on Bush St, near the Powell cable car tracks. Solid breakfast, very helpful staff. My only real issue is the size of the rooms. Ours was so small that there was no chair in the room. But this is a good spot to base yourself for downtown San Francisco.

We stayed 3 days during our recent trip to San Francisco. The location near Union Square is great for exploring the city, the nearest cable car station is only 1 minute away. The rooms are a bit small but clean and cozy (really loved the comfy bed!), the bathroom was also clean and the shower was really nice. I also...

Great location. Walking distance to many restaurans and bars. A couple blocks from Union Square. Cables car pickup at the corner. Clean hotel, small room, but normal for SF. Better than expected breakfast.

This hotel was beautifully decorated and definitely a piece of France in San Francisco. Central location and substantial breakfast included. Great customer service. Loved the lobby and salon with tea and coffee available all day.

This hotel is well located in Bush Street just off Powell Street so there is easy access to the cable cars. The rooms are relatively small compared with what you might get in a modern motel but that is made up for by the quaint décor, including the old style elevator. Anyone who has stayed in the older apartments in...

A colleague and I stayed in the hotel during a weeklong conference. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. Lots of closet and storage space which made sharing a room very easy. The staff were extremely accommodating and gave us a personal experience. I would definitely recommend a visit here and I would stay here in the future.
