Two bed room is a bit small compare to to others. It is close to the beach and zoo if that is what you are after. Like others have said, breakfast is just a regular english muffin, loaf of bread and fruits with assorted jelly...More
continental breakfast was disappointing We had to take it to the our room. We never encountered this before. There is usually a room with tables to sit in. Selection was poor. Also having no elevator was inconvenient since I have had back surgery and was...More

The L-Taraval (one block from Days Inn) will take you all the way to the Embarcadero Station. You will then walk 3 minutes to Market and Main where you can board the F line (toward Jones and Beach Sts). You'll disembark at the Embarcadero-Sansome stop where you can then take a scenic five minute walk to Pier 33. Depending upon the time of day, total travel should take a little over an hour. Tip: Always get a transfer ticket even if you think you may not use it. It's valid for 90 minutes of travel in the same direction (except on the cable cars). With a mobile app I think you’ll find the SFMTA (the Muni system plus cable cars and trolleys) quite user-friendly. Enjoy the various views of The City.
