The place is decadent, the refrigerator in the room had mold and it smells, there's a lot of noise, you can hear all the cars passing in the street.
The carpet is full of dust, and impregnated with food from past guests.
The ambiance was depressing the minute you walk in the reception/breakfast area then to the elevator which smells lastly the "i dont know how to describe look" room. The bread and cereal leftovers in breakfast area were still there the whole day and the ff...More

Dear guest, thank you for staying with us and sharing your feedback. Your hotel and room should always be very clean and comfortable! We are disappointed to see that you did not have a wonderful stay with us, and that we dropped the ball in...More
We didn't have high expectations considering the price we paid, however it was far worse than anyone should put up considering the price it costs anyway.
The rooms are very old fashioned and drab, which is fine to deal with however there is damage to...More
The location of this hotel is great. Perfect walking distance to an array of restaurants and bars, the Palace of Fine Arts, Fisherman's Wharf and more. Sadly, this is the only thing going for it (and the free wifi)
Although we felt safe, I really...More
This is by far the worst "hotel" experience I ever had. Filthy rooms, very dirty, smoke and marijuana smells. In addition a very rude and aggressive front desk man (the older guy) who was shouting and threatening. I cannot believe a place like this exists....More

Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city.
With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighbourhood into a party-going hotspot.

I didn't encounter bed bugs but the hotel is not one that I will ever stay at again. There is no breakfast, just some white bread and some packaged danishes. The room was dirty and doesn't have AC. I would recommend canceling the booking and finding other accommodations. San Francisco is an expensive city but there has to be better places to stay than The Presidio. We were talking to a couple that was on the same cruise as us and had stayed near the city to sight see, they found a hotel near the airport that did provide a breakfast and complimentary shuttle service to the city. The next time I visit I will be looking at that option.
I hope this helps.
