Last minute trip. I don't know SF at all but it's near the interesting spots so I figured I'd give it a try.
Not clean at all. Poor maintenance. Clerk put me next to a room with 4 children under the age of 5.
My family of 5 and I stayed at this hotel only because it was close to my mom's house. I knew we we're in trouble when I pulled into the hotel parking lot and found staff members playing Jai Alai in the parking lot. Sure...More

We did see a previous review stating that they had Bed Bugs but thought they would have been rid of them before we stayed. I woke at 10.45pm after flicking something off me and then saw the bed bugs. There were light bulbs that did...More

Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city.
With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighbourhood into a party-going hotspot.

I didn't encounter bed bugs but the hotel is not one that I will ever stay at again. There is no breakfast, just some white bread and some packaged danishes. The room was dirty and doesn't have AC. I would recommend canceling the booking and finding other accommodations. San Francisco is an expensive city but there has to be better places to stay than The Presidio. We were talking to a couple that was on the same cruise as us and had stayed near the city to sight see, they found a hotel near the airport that did provide a breakfast and complimentary shuttle service to the city. The next time I visit I will be looking at that option.
I hope this helps.
