Terrific staff which made me feel welcome and offered a free room upgrade. Also gave an excellent recommendation for breakfast. The hotel is in an excellent location with lots of shopping and restaurants close by. The hotel offers amazing panoramic views from the top floors. The interior design is modern contemporary.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write us a review! I'm pleased you had an enjoyable stay and found our location convenient and ideal. It is great to hear you had a chance to experience the panoramic view from the top floor, it is definitely one of the best views in the city! Please come back and...

I stayed at the San Francisco Grand Hyatt while attending a conference at the Moscone Center. On the positive side, the location was convenient, and the staff were friendly and professional. However, the room was average, not luxurious. I was charged a conference rate, much lower than the advertised price, but I was still a bit disappointed. I know bed...

perfectly located almost equidistant from the piers, Chinatown, arts district, and major downtown shopping areas. Million dollar views (assuming you are facing the bay), and uncluttered contemporary rooms.

I spent 5 nights at the Grand Hyatt on Stockton St. Rooms were very nice . . . simple and modern. Very clean and comfortable. I was on the 18th floor with a view across Union Square. There's a lot of construction going on in San Francisco so you do hear quite a bit of noise. No fault of the...

A friend and I came for a few days of shopping and hanging out. The hotel is located right off Union Square. It is a fairly central location, excellent if you are looking for big name stores. Not very close to boutique style shops and eatery. Hotel was clean and room was updated. Small complaint would be that they did...

Excellent hotel. Great view from 20+ floors. Love the l9unge on the 25th floor. At $30 per person breakfast is a wonderful value and selection. Rooms are very comfortable and quiet. Try and check in as early as possible to get the besf available rooms. I highly recommend bay view above 20th floor. Overall A+

This hotel has it all given that it is a very nice hotel and it is located on Union Square so a lot of shopping and site seeing is literally outside the door. It has been renovated during the past few years so the hotel is very contemporary in design and every feature of the room fits the theme. In...

I've actually stayed at this Hyatt a number of times over the years and it's provided consistent high quality service every time. The rooms are comfortable, they're not havens of modernity but everything is there that you would hope is there. All the staff are great from the front desk, concierge & valets all the way to the cleaners. The...

Poorly trained staff! Very bad layout of reception! Has to clue about the Hyatt Members or recognizing them. Rooms are way too small - no matter what room you get its nowhere near the Grand Hyatt in the middle east for example! Grand club was very disappointing at this facility Room was next to a pantry and the noise just...

The location was the reason why I stayed. You would expect all the good things about a Hyatt and the hotel delivers them. Ask for a room at a higher floor to enjoy the view, I had a room at 16th floor and didn't see a thing. Breakfast room is small and crowded, I had to wait 10 minutes to...
