The hotel is in s greet location! Walking distance to most everything we wanted to do! Great for Giants game stay!!! We did not really need help on our arrival or departure but it seems there was no one there if we did. We stayed on 27th (top) floor and when we arrived there a a huge red pice of...

Dear Decoyqueen, We appreciate your candid feedback. Please accept our most sincere apologies for overall condition and the fan left in your room. This is certainly not our standard. Regarding your bill I kindly request that you contact the hotel or myself directly so that it can be resolved immediately. We hope you can join us again for another visit...

The hotel was nice, and it is definitely worth the price to upgrade to the Executive Lounge level (free evening snacks, free continental breakfast). The location seems to be more in Chinatown, and it also seemed to be further from AT&T Park than 1.5 miles. Room service and the bar close at 11pm, so if you are looking for snacks/drinks...

Dear T6707UBjennifers, Thank you for staying with us. We are happy you enjoyed the amenities of one of our Executive Level rooms. While our restaurant and bar service end at 11pm, we would be more than happy to offer recommendations of local hotspots that stay open later, many of which are right up the street in North Beach. Thank you...

Stayed 4 days. Was upgraded to an executive room on the 24th floor. Good room with a good view. Clean. Good location. Walked around North Beach and to Union street shopping. Concierge JC was very helpful and knowledgeable. Did the scenic drive and lunch at Sausalito. Front office, Executive Lounge and Valet Parking staff were also very helpful, friendly. Executive...

The corner room we were initially given was very small and had no desk, which was a problem since both my husband and I had to work. The front desk was very accommodating and moved us to a much better room, complete with a long desk and a huge window looking at Coit Tower and the bay. While all the...

Good location for a weekend getaway to SF. The Hilton is in China Town/Financial District and easy walking distance (5-10 mins) to Union Square. The room I had was a good size with 2 beds, a couch, and a full length desk that overlooked the water and Coit Tower. I had a great stay and would book again!

Our room was on the 23rd floor with a magnificent view of the bay, including Alcatraz and Coit Tower. Being on the 23rd floor allowed us access to the Executive Lounge with complimentary small breakfast and evening h'doreves.

Staying in Financial District

Neighbourhood Profile
Financial District
The Financial District lies just east of Chinatown but can seem a world apart given it’s San Francisco’s version of Wall Street. The rush of business people make up a hectic weekday and add to a frenetic pace of life, but visitors who spend a few hours walking the narrow streets will be rewarded with fine examples of historic and contemporary architecture, including the iconic Transamerica Pyramid. After business hours, bars and restaurants quickly fill up with happy hour revelers. Stocks aren’t the only kind of market being followed, the Ferry Building Marketplace on the Embarcadero is a gourmet food emporium and farmers market that will satisfy anyone working up an appetite.
