its been a few years , however I'm flying back from Hawaii for a 4 day stay and cant wait to revisit my favorite place to stay while in the city. The Hyatt is located in such a perfect place for shopping, dinner and just a great feel for the city. So looking forward to this great opportunity to revisit..:)

I had an extremely disappointing stay at the hotel this past week. First I was charged a rate of $930 per night plus tax for a small room with access to the regency club. The pricing was outrageous even according to one of the employees. For over one thousand dollars with tax I did however expect a good experience. I...

This hotel was made famous by the fact that it has an open atrium in the center. I believe that it was used in the Mel Brook's movie High Anxiety concerning fear of heights. It is beautiful in the whole but my experience was not great. Our convention was held their and the service for coffee and breakfast was terrible...

This hotel does not deserve more than 3 stars, if that. Very basic room, dirty, dust everywhere, stained couch, shabby. Towels are hard and cheap quality, water pressure pathetic, empty mini bar (what the...?): and this was supposed to be a Regency Club room, shudder to think what other floors are like. Staggered that there are actually positive reviews re...

Thank you for your feedback. We take great pride in exceeding our guests’ expectation and it is disappointed that we did not accomplish this completely during your visit. Please accept our sincere apologies. It is our goal to have all of our Regency Club rooms renovated by end of the year. Many of our guests find our empty mini fridge...

I stay at the hyatt regency 3-4 times a year for business. I give my hyatt rewards number EVERY time, and was told at this past stay that it was not used since October 2015 - so I missed an entire year of rewards points. I also left my phone charger in the room prior to check out, and then...

I recently stayed at this hotel with my family. It is a convenient hotel to stay if you like waterfront and downtown. Walking distance to popular Pier 39 (I would say good 15-20 minutes walk on the waterfront). There are good restaurants at the waterfront, so very handy location. The hotel is tucked into high-rise buildings as there are high...

Since I first visited in 1974 (it opened in 1973), I've always been impressed by this iconic hotel. The unique open/cavernous-atrium architecture was a popular modern hotel design feature promoted back then, and although some people today may call it "dated," I still feel a thrill every time I visit/stay at this property. It's extremely convenient to everything in and...

I got alergy reaction to bedding . The towels were smelling like cheap detergent. You can hear car and garbage truck noise from street, early in the morning, like 5 am or so, that woke me up. there was also noise from lobby.

Staying in Financial District

Neighbourhood Profile
Financial District
The Financial District lies just east of Chinatown but can seem a world apart given it’s San Francisco’s version of Wall Street. The rush of business people make up a hectic weekday and add to a frenetic pace of life, but visitors who spend a few hours walking the narrow streets will be rewarded with fine examples of historic and contemporary architecture, including the iconic Transamerica Pyramid. After business hours, bars and restaurants quickly fill up with happy hour revelers. Stocks aren’t the only kind of market being followed, the Ferry Building Marketplace on the Embarcadero is a gourmet food emporium and farmers market that will satisfy anyone working up an appetite.
