I stayed for a week at the Laurel Inn, in late April. Visiting family. Essentially....? Most of the reviews are spot on. The hotel is OK, but for the price, it's not actually up to par with other similar boutique hotels in SF that I have stayed at in the past. The hotel is somewhat dated on the inside, though... More

Last week-end to visit our daughter and grandson we stayed at the Laurel Inn in San Francisco. A quiet, efficient, comfortable hotel exactly one mile in 2 directions from our daughters. 30 minute walk to either address. the nearby street has great shopping and breakfast at the Swank next door on Sunday was fabulous. Service was impeccable - but mostly... More

This hotel was just okay, but for $200/ night, you can find much nicer and more conveniently located in the city. The hotel is very dated. The room we stayed in had no A/C and was very stale and dank. The room wasn't dirty, but overall had a dingy feel. The parking was convenient, but cost $22/night. We stayed at... More

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for your feedback. I am very sorry that your stay was not up to your expectations. Making sure that our guests have excellent stays is something that we do strive for. A basic, somewhat dated hotel, next to the Presidio. Staff is friendly, parking is provided, and the rooms are standard in their offerings. We appreciated the kitchenette, beautiful views of the city, and a very comfortable bed (mattress and linens). The biggest drawback is the musty smell (typical of an aging building in San Fran). Diffusers can be found throughout... More

My Mother stayed at the Laurel Inn for a month after surgery. The staff was very kind to her. Not being accustomed to the hotel prices in San Francisco, I was surprised at the price of the hotel. The size of the room was generous and the kitchen was a great help. I would suggest to anyone staying there for... More

Dear Guest, I am glad to hear that your mother enjoyed her extended stay at the Laurel Inn. With our close location to some nearby hospitals, it is convenient for some patients while they recover. It is nice to see that the kitchen that we offer in some of our rooms was of assistance to your mother. That amenity, along... More

We have stayed at the Laurel inn in the past and I always look at their offers first as they are located just a block from our son. However when the lowest rate I find on an average room with no view room is $280 -$300 I have to ask myself if it is worth it. Suites at the beautiful... More

The hotel is fairly basic in terms of it being a place to stay, it's not a spa retreat or a relaxing get away. But it IS clean comfortable and the staff are very courteous, your surroundings may not be 5* but your service is. I would definitely go back here again. The location may not suit everyone but I...
