I stayed a night on business. First, the staff were all very friendly and eager to help. I arrived early and had requested early check in. They kept me and my earlier-arriving colleague (whose room I'd have used had mine not been ready) apprised by text of the status of my room so that we knew the room was ready...

We took a family vacation on spring break and most hotel prices were outrageous during spring break. We were warmly greeted as we walked in. We stayed in the urban suite which fits 4 people comfortably. 1 bathroom and bedroom with a separate living area with a sleeper. The noise in the bedroom is minimal but if you're staying on...

The hotel is located near the subway, around 5 minutes walk and near the shopping district. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and cheerful. Always ready to help. They even implement more security during new year eve to ensure the hotel is not rowdy and is kept safe. I will definitely recommend this hotel because...

Lovely, clean, well-kept, well-appointed, warm-wood boutique hotel, with a friendly staff. Feels like an inn. In an exciting neighborhood within easy walking distance of union square and the powell street cable car turnaround. Also near BART for easy access to the airport. Cafes, restaurants, drug stores, galleries all in the surrounding blocks. We heard street noise very clearly in the...

This boutique hotel offers the most comfort and style packed in a small space. The Abri is clean with attentive staff. Don't come for the view; this classic build is pressee against its neighbor, thus all 3 of my windows faced a wall. Despite the view, you'll find the location makes the city very accessible. Its an easy walk to...

I recently had a great stay at the Hotel Abri near Union Square in San Francisco. The hotel has a hip, trendy feel with a very modern lobby. It’s a great jumping off point for getting just about anywhere in the city. The hotel has an upscale feel and there’s a real emphasis on service – they want to create...

I thought time travel didn't exist ! I felt like I went back some 20 years when I open my hotel room. Humid, small...the air conditioning was in a window and if you didn't want your neighbors to watch you sleep then the curtain will actually cover the unit completely blocking the air flow 100%. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash...

Dear Ronel A, Thank you for taking the time to post a response regarding your stay with us at Hotel AbRi. I am sorry to read that your room seemed "small." And I am truly concerned that your room wasn't "Humid" and not comfortable enough to your needs. While the building is over a hundred years old, and still maintains...

Staff was very friendly, including John M., upon arrival. Very accommodating to questions and concerns. The room I was in was a bit noisy with the rail cars running right outside my window, which is why I didn't give the hotel a 5.

I stayed here for a few days in a double bed room. Pros: - room clean - mattress and pillows very comfortable - free wi-fi - location very good: downtown, 3 minutes from the cable car terminus on Powell Street - staff friendly and professional. Cons: - given the location, it's a bit noisy at night. Well, downtown San Francisco...

“We checked in online the day before and asked for a "quiet" room. They put us on the 5th floor facing the interior courtyard. Even though you expect "city noises" being downtown, I think the placement of our room was a bonus for us.”
