2 nights spent here at the end of our week in California. No pre-booking, just rolled up and got a room. Friendly staff, easy check in, had to leave a $25 dollar deposit (card imprint). Good room facilities, clean and comfortable. Quiet neighbourhood. Would stay...More
After our first stay in November 2015 we stayed once again at Nob Hill Motor Inn in October 2017 and we just can recommend this hotel as a very good location for a visit of San Francisco area.

I need a room to put my stuff in to have a clean bed to sleep in and where I don't feel like some sketchy person is going through my stuff when I'm not there. This room had all those things plus a gigantic television...More
When arrived early just after 12noon to leave our car and explore the city, it was an unusually warm day for San Francisco and I believe it got up to 110! When we returned to the hotel about 6:30 or 7, we checked in and...More
The motel was just that.. A motel. Don't expect luxury. For the price and the free parking, it served its purpose. We stayed one night for a concert and although it was loud during the day, due to construction on the street, it was not...More

Swanky and stylish, Nob Hill sits in the heart of the city and is home to amazing architecture and views. The hike to the top can be a challenging workout for those who forego a cable car ride, but they will be rewarded with some of the city’s most beautiful architecture adorning its peak. Originally populated with mansions after the Gold Rush, most if not all were devastated in the 1906 earthquake and fire that
followed. Luckily all is not lost; storied hotels and Grace Cathedral surround Huntington Park. Having a drink or dinner while taking in the sunset and views at the "top of the Mark" is tough to beat.

I was driving a Ford Fusion and had no problems and while I was there there were big SUV's in there too with no problems either. There is ample width for turning so you can either drive into & back out of the space or you can drive into the central area & back into the space if that's your preference, though you might find it easier to leave the boot accessible while the car's parked so driving in is probably the better option.
