We booked the last two nights of our road trip at Pacific Heights Inn. We had stayed here on a previous visit and liked the location and the free parking. It's a reasonable priced option for San Francisco. However on the day we were leaving we stopped at The Cliff House for lunch on the way to the airport. When...

The Pacific Heights Inn is an excellent and affordable option in SF. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Jonah the concierge was extremely helpful and made our stay enjoyable. There are tons of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Definitely will come again!

We spent two nights here to visit the charming San Francisco! We were aware that city's accommodations are very expensive and we found this good option. The place is well located in a safe area, with free-parking, bus stop and some restaurants around, staff is friendly; however rooms' furniture and moquette is old, bathroom vey small, everything was clean and...

I booked out a two bedroom for a night, but Jonah give me a free upgrade to a 3 bedroom suite! The place is good for it's price and it's close to many attractions in San Francisco. There is also free parking and breakfast. It's a pretty good place to stay if you're on a budget.

Due to San Francisco being a very expensive city, we stayed in this hotel. Very disappointing. Even though the manager was helpful, the rooms smelt terrible, the bathroom was so small it was uncomfortable and it was very noisy at all hours of the night. Do not recommend staying here.

We picked this hotel for the location. It is older and could stand some TLC but everything worked. The bedding and towels were nice and clean. We are good walkers so we walked to many attractions in this area and took tours to others. The continental breakfast was just coffee, juice and pastries. We bought yogurt and fruit at the...

Good value. Free parking! Good, basic, free breakfast. Coffee and tea available most of the day. Large room. Some noise from neighboring rooms, but not a real problem. Very clean. Friendly, helpful staff. Good, central location for exploring San Francisco with nearby bus stop. Walking distance to restaurants. We will return on future visits.

Thank you for making our stay in San Fran so affordable with a car. This place ticked our boxes: clean, tidy, welcoming, free breakfast and free car parking! It is not fancy, but it doesn’t need to be. The location is great – we walked to Fisherman’s Wharf and did our Alcatraz tour from there, being able to leave the...

We had a very good stay at Pacific Heights Inn, San Francisco. Well-maintained inn and helpful staff. It's relatively cheap and accessible to downtown SF via bus. We were five and were given 2 queen size bed and 1 single bed with separate room.

We have been staying here since the 90's. Centrally located, affordable, very clean rooms, helpful staff and Free Parking. Can't beat the price if you are on a budget. We hope someday they will be able to renovate. Really helps working class families like ours be able to stay in San Francisco and enjoy extra activities.

Staying in Marina District

Neighbourhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighbourhood into a party-going hotspot.
