Terrific location, great room and fantastic breakfast for our needs. Fisherman's Wharf attractions are steps away, there is a Walgreens across the street for any needs. We did not have a rental car but instead walked, used public transport or Uber. My 13 year old son and I were more than satisfied with the breakfast offered - fruit, scrambled eggs,...

Noisy! You can hear everything from other Rooms and the busy street. Didn't explain resort tax to me so made me pay $60 for breakfast, wifi and in room beverages I didn't use! When I complained he shrugged his shoulders and said someone should have explained.

I specifically booked this hotel having enjoyed my past experience there. This time I was disappointed with my stay and am not as inclined to return. My room was so quiet and on the first floor so it was very easy to hear everything outside of my room. I heard conversations in the street, loud vehicles passing by, and noise...

Love this hotel, the rooms are spacious and very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I found all staff to be polite and friendly, we had the breakfast as included it was ok you get the basics sausages, bacon, scrambled, eggs, fruit and cereal. I would have preferred a choice of how,I wanted my egg and the coffee isn't that...

This hotel is well situated if you like walking to the pier and Italian village or Chinatown. Also easy access to the cable cars. The hotel itself is nice, and the rooms are ok. It isn't your typical luxury hotel but serves the purpose perfectly. Very secure with card access to the rooms, clean and you can open the windows...

The Pier 2620 hotel made our trip more enjoyable, however, there were disruptions during the night when we were trying to sleep. There were couples argueing and footsteps from the floor above us. We find the front desk very helpful. We enjoyed our stay at 2620.

When on vacation, I want to get an excellent night's sleep. That means minimal street noise and black out blinds. I was onthe 3rd level and the street noise at 4 am was terrible. And no black out blinds had light blaring in way too early.

Roccoco7, Thank you for taking a moment to let us know about your recent stay at Pier 2620 Hotel. We're sorry to hear about the interruptions you experienced that led to a frustrating night's sleep. We are currently working on reducing the external noise our exterior-facing rooms experience, making them more comparable to our interior-facing courtyard view rooms. While unfortunately...

It took us a couple of laps around the building (being tourists) to figure out how we could check in to the hotel and where to park. It would be helpful if they had an attendant at the valet desk out front. The parking does not have signage for the hotel but rather is just "Public Parking" on the side...

We had a great stay at Pier 2620. Great location, clean room, comfortable bed, great decor, friendly staff, good breakfast choices. Check in and check out was seamless and staff was friendly. Our room was on street side and at times it was busy but we expected that and were okay with that after reading other reviews. Still slept great...

I found this "boutique" hotel on another site, and found the decor and ambience to be interesting. I was looking for a different hotel, non-big name, close to Fisherman's Wharf for my husband's 40th birthday trip. The hotel was a quick jaunt down to the Wharf, where there are plenty of shops and restaurants. Honestly, I cannot say enough good...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Located at the intersection of historic North Beach and world-renowned Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 2620 Hotel is the ideal choice for discerning travelers seeking a break from the ordinary. Because we believe your San Francisco experience shouldn't have to end when you walk into your hotel. We call it "urban sleek," our guests describe it as "industrial chic," "hip nautical," and simply "one of the coolest rooms I've ever stayed in." We're unlike anything else you'll find in Fisherman's Wharf, which is exactly how we like it. Renovated in late 2015, the largest standard guestrooms in the area feature a meticulously curated waterfront-themed décor, with high-end custom finishes. All rooms include: Serta Platinum Suite II mattresses, 55" flat screen TVs with media hubs, complimentary WiFi, eco-friendly bath amenities, in-room safes, mini-fridges and coffee makers. Onsite parking, access to a VIP Club Lounge and 24-hour fitness center are just the start of what makes Pier 2620 Hotel the perfect home away from home. Pier 2620 Hotel's prime location and variety of transportation options provides travelers with easy access to a variety of areas for work and play, including: Moscone Center, Fort Mason, Union Square, SOMA, the Financial District, Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39, Cable Cars, Ghirardelli Square, Little Italy, Chinatown and the Embarcadero. ... more   less
