Found this hotel after lots of searching and although it was pricier, I'd definitely go back. The decor was amazing and felt like a very unique hotel, and perfectly suited for San Francisco. Hubs and I were upgraded to a suite due to a booking mixup and my 4 boys (10, 13, 15 yrs) stayed in a 2-queen room a...

Despite being within a 5 minute walk of the "commercial tourist trap", within the hotel is really quiet and a great base to explore the city from. Really close to Pier 39, the exploratorium and is walkable to union square etc, though a cable car is much more fun, Recently undergone a refurb and I absolutely love the design. Slightly...

Super close to Fisherman's Wharf so you just have to park you car and forget about it. Walking distance to great restaurants, the hop-on hop-off bus as well as pretty much anything to see in a shortish stay. The rooms are clean and beds super comfortable. Coffee supplied only for those who like super strong whack you in the jaw...

The hotel is quirky in a nice way with lots of nautical touches given that its just off the wharf. The rooms are a good size with plenty of storage space and a massive bed which is almost the same size as the TV. The bed is very comfy but ask for a room away from the air conditioning unit...

A very nice hotel with quaint, nautical décor. The staff went over and beyond to assist-extremely friendly. We were in walking distance to most attractions. The room was spacious and clean. Very enjoyable stay.

Good location, only a couple of blocks away from the wharf, couple of blocks away from the Powell-Hyde cable car. We had a superior room, amazingly big, huge bed, massive tv. Very Clean and tidy, Staff really friendly, recommended restaurants and stored bags. Try and get a room facing the court yard as windows are single pained.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Located at the intersection of historic North Beach and world-renowned Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 2620 Hotel is the ideal choice for discerning travelers seeking a break from the ordinary. Because we believe your San Francisco experience shouldn't have to end when you walk into your hotel. We call it "urban sleek," our guests describe it as "industrial chic," "hip nautical," and simply "one of the coolest rooms I've ever stayed in." We're unlike anything else you'll find in Fisherman's Wharf, which is exactly how we like it. Renovated in late 2015, the largest standard guestrooms in the area feature a meticulously curated waterfront-themed décor, with high-end custom finishes. All rooms include: Serta Platinum Suite II mattresses, 55" flat screen TVs with media hubs, complimentary WiFi, eco-friendly bath amenities, in-room safes, mini-fridges and coffee makers. Onsite parking, access to a VIP Club Lounge and 24-hour fitness center are just the start of what makes Pier 2620 Hotel the perfect home away from home. Pier 2620 Hotel's prime location and variety of transportation options provides travelers with easy access to a variety of areas for work and play, including: Moscone Center, Fort Mason, Union Square, SOMA, the Financial District, Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39, Cable Cars, Ghirardelli Square, Little Italy, Chinatown and the Embarcadero. ... more   less
