It's a good budget motel for San Francisco, our room was clean enough and spacious, the style is a bit dated but it was the cheapest option we found in that location. The wifi was fine, the air conditioning a bit noisy and the car park is not huge so I guess it can be a problem in high season

This was probably the cutest hotel room we stayed in, it felt a lot like a small apartment room that we felt as though we could live in. Would have given 5 stars but... I'll start with the one bad thing: The elevator/lift was TERRIFYING! There's a door that opens up directly into the lift, and if you call the...

One of the cheapest motels/hotels in San Francisco. A bit dated, however, clean. Free parking, acceptable wifi. The location of the hotel is brilliant - next to Lombard street, 15 min walk to the Fisherman's Wharf. Golden Gate bridge is visible from the rooftop of the hotel.

Had a great 5 day stay here, very convenient location for Fisherman's Wharf and Golden Gate Bridge etc. Room in front by main road is noisy so go for those further towards rear of hotel. Staff really great, very helpful ! Recommended !

Very friendly staffs and very near the Fisherman wharf. Recommendation: Walk towards the 8 hairpin turns (a very steep uphill climb), towards the wharf, and return via the Ghirardelli chocolate factory. Free parking is a bonus !

The staff is very friendly. This is a nice location to visit the warfs or Lombard Street by foot. Free parking and clean rooms. The wifi was a bit unstable. The pastries provided on morning were not so good.

This was one of the cheapest hotels in San Francisco, when we were visiting the city. Expected worse, but we were surprised: the room was very clean, the staff members were helpful and nice (except the lady during breakfast). The location of the hotel is briliant - the bus stop, from witch you can go to downtown or to visit...

The office was embarrassing. The room was clean and acceptable. The bed beats a sleeping bag. The pillow was the hardest pillow I've ever slept on. I was up at 3 am trying to find something soft to use for a pillow. I settled on the blanket off the bed I called the office first thing in the morning to...

We visited The Redwood Inn during Fleet Week, last week. We were 3 middle age women, and did not want to spend the $600.00-700.00 / night that hotels in Fisherman's Wharf area were charging. The first encounter was my phone call to Paul, the manager. He was super helpful, and was able to accomadate the 3 of us quite comfortably...

Staying in Marina District

Neighbourhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighbourhood into a party-going hotspot.
