There are so many hotels within Union Square your head will swim as to which one to choose. My partner and I selected the JW Marriott because we enjoy JW Marriott properties in general and they have Club Level services. We stayed at a Club Level mid-June and were disappointed in the Club Level experience. The club itself is nice...

We really enjoyed our stay here the hotel staff were very helpful when we checked in, the staff in the lounge were excellent and always willing to find anything we needed. The room was a great size with plenty of wardrobe space. The bathroom was a great size too.We did have to ask for feather pillows three times[which we prefer]but that...

Very nice and comfortable hotel specially the bed, of course it's very clean, the staff is friendly and helpful. The only thing that I didn't like is that they charge around $13 / day for using the wifi.

Stayed at this hotel on a business trip. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. The location of the hotel is also good. It is about a block from Union Square, and within reasonable walking distance of downtown (about 1 mile to the Ferry Building). The bed was kind of lumpy but I slept...

I've stayed at a number of JW Marriott's and this was not at the top of the list. OK place to stay if you want to be in that neighborhood, but don't expect the typical JW Marriott feel or service. It was more like a typical Marriott...a nice place to "stay in". The room was nice...we had connecting rooms with...

The reason I give "Poor" rating is because of service I had received. The hotel is clean and nice. The location was superb. However because of crappy service I received, the rating of this hotel just went down and down and down. When we got to the hotel, the valet helped us to unload our luggage. I didn't think too...

Hotel was very nice, staff very helpful. Gold level lounge isn't up to par with other hotels we've stayed at, but good. Came back to our hotel one night to find other peoples luggage in our room which was kind of disturbing, as we didn't know if the people had been in our room our it was fault of staff....

I stayed here for 4 nights while attending a conference at the convention center. Its in a fun, safe neighborhood thats easy to walk to most neighborhoods. And one of the best concierge lounges Ive ever visited. Its a busy, well lit hotel with a great atrium. The convention center is maybe a ten minute walk, china town is close...

This trip was a combined business and leisure trip. From the time I got to the front door of this hotel to the time I checked out, I have experienced nothing but great service from ALL of the staff that I've encountered. The constant positive greetings at the front door, helpful check-in and out staff, extremely helpful concierge, and clean well appointed room made this one of the best San Francisco stays ever. The location for almost everything you'd want to see and do could not be better. I would recommend this hotel for anyone that wanted a great value and good...
