I am not sure how I even ended up booking this place because I swear I read good reviews before doing so. But this place was awful! It is not in a nice area of downtown. We ended up arriving after midnight after a long drive along the coast from LA. We had to park across the street in a...

The hotel is an ok value if you want to be close to everything for a reasonable price. It's located directly on the F Market streetcar line which is very convenient getting to Embarcardero, Fisherman's Wharf and all the other tourist attractions. My only two issues were (1) no closet space or even hooks on the walls to hang anything,...

I stayied for 6 days at the Edwardian hotel with my boyfriend and we had an excellent experience. The hotel is very well located, a few minutes from the main attractions and areas of San Francisco. This allowed us, sometime, to come backj and have a rest before going out again. The manager was very helpful and nice. I felt...

I don't understand all of the positive reviews on this hotel and can only surmise that we were given a room that is only opened when all others are full. The hotel is very old and run down. Toilets and shower facilities are all shared and were awful. I couldn't bring myself to have a shower. The furniture in the...

We are very sorry to hear about the guest's complaint, at the check-out we offered the guest two free breakfasts, because she did not expect to have a non en-suite bathroom. All our rooms at the edwardian hotel have a private bathroom, we have a room that was assigned to the guest that has a private bathroom, on the hallway,...

I booked my room online, the rate was very reasonable, but I was not sure what to expect for that rate. It was a pleasant surprise, the location was great, only five minutes by trolley to my interview in the financial district, the room was cozy not large but clean. The staff was helpful. I think it is a very...

I headed with a friend to San Francisco to attend a concert at Slim's on 11th st. It's a short walk to the hotel, conveniently located to all transport. My room was small but clean and quiet. It is very reasonbly priced hotel. I will definitely stay here again.

I've stayed in nicer hostels in Crotia and Bulgaria. Pros - location, however, the location is also a con because it's so loud outside. Cons - everything else. The room wasn't even clean upon a late arrival. Moreover, the bathroom had 3 colors of paint, not by design. The shower curtain rod was rusty and there was mildew in the...

Hayes Valley
Chock full of designer boutiques, art galleries, funky shoe stores, and great restaurants, it’s hard to imagine Hayes Valley once languished in the shadow of a major freeway.
