Nice hotel, close to Union Square. Normal to see homeless around the hotel. Rooms are small but colorfully decorated. Unfortunately had to get housekeeping to clean black mold from the bathroom sink, shower tiles and ceiling above the shower. Other than that the staff seemed friendly and I would probably return if they offered good rates.

Pros: Priceing, really enjoyed the location to Union Square, the staff were pleasant and very helpful. The rooms were clean, decorated very upbeat and funky. Cons, Parking:( and they advertised complimentary pizza and wine. The wine was available but the no pizza. Overall, the hotel is just beautiful and you couldnt ask for a better location to Union Square.

Hotel was clean and accommodating. Staff friendly. Great location for theatre and Union Square. Doesn't have lobby bar but wine and cheese self service after work. Park one block north on Taylor and show hotel card to save on parking.

My husband and I spent 3 nights at The Marker having stayed there several times in the past when it was The Monaco. It is a good value compared to other hotels in the Union Square area. The staff to the one is helpful and friendly. The attached restaurant serves an excellent breakfast. We walked most everywhere during our stay...

San Francisco is expensive, so this is just about the best value for money. If you are able to spend several hundred per night, there are better options, but for under 200 per night, this is pretty much the best!

The Marker is a nice hotel, but for the price, I didn't see enough value. The staff was friendly and helpful and the common areas were well maintained. For close to $400 a night though, I expect more than a small room that looks out on an interior wall. I was there for a week. And there wasn't even a...

We arrived to the hotel with a warm welcome from Eddie. Then when we wanted to switch rooms, our request was granted with no hesitation. We also arrived as wine reception was ending and Austin at front desk had wine sent to our room. So very nice! We also needed to leave some items for another guest and Austin packaged...

Good sized and cutely decorated rooms with great standard of cleanliness. Well-positioned to explore the City, close to Union Square. Unfortunately we weren't there long enough to take advantage of coffee in the morning or happy hour but thought the idea was a nice touch and a bit of a differentiator. Breakfast in Tratto was lovely. All the staff were...

This hotel was so amazing that we decided to make it our Thanksgiving *pilgrimage* every year! (We're on our third visit) the staff is really outstanding and super friendly. The Union Square location really can't be beat. This hotel also allows animals on certain floors. A hotel that caterers to me and my silly dog is one I'll write an...
