This is a small hotel and the rooms are smaller than other Holiday Inn Express hotels I have stayed at. They have bed, desk, chair, bathroom, closet, coffee maker so the room is basic but has the essentials. I would not hesitate to stay there...More
I just wrote an review for another IHG property on how IHG top tiers are losing sheen. Well its properties like this HI Express hotel which probably is keeping loyal members like me still tied to IHG. Wonderful staff, going out of the way for...More
Perfect location for seeing the city! Hotel is completely renovated and very clean. Staff is wonderful and very helpful. Nice to have a complete breakfast in the morning. See you next time we are in the city.
The staff was super helpful and very friendly. They were able to satisfy my request of being on a higher floor; however, the the noise from the street can easily be heard from the top floor (5th floor). If you’re a light sleeper then this...More
Cute little boutique hotel, easy to get to via BART. Cable car turnaround just around the corner. Great staff, good service. Breakfast room well lit and clean. Loved the pillows. Would stay here again.
Originally home to rallies supporting the Union Army in the Civil War, this grand square has become the city's premier shopping and entertainment district containing the largest number of upscale department stores, chic boutiques, art galleries and theatres in the city. It's a large open area where tourists and locals gather, watch cable cars and crowds go by, enjoy a snack, or plan their day of shopping and
sightseeing, If feeling the pulsating energy of the city is on your agenda, Union Square is the place to soak it in.

Use the Bart , station is in the airport and Powell St station is 5 mins from hotel, it's an excellent service . When you come out of the station take the escalator to street level ( tram stop) at top go left take second left and 300 yards is the hotel. Public transport in SF is excellent I would advise using it to see the city . I was in SF in Feb and was greatly impressed with the transport system.

Hi Traveler, sorry for the delayed response. Unfortunately I always drive from my house to San Francisco so I am not familiar with taxi, BART, buses or Uber type services from the airport. I have, on occasion when staying in SF, used the Taxi services to travel to and from my hotel and that experience has always been positive. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
