It was perfect for our stay in Nov 2022. four of us including 16 & 18 year olds in 2 queen room. The room was spacious and clean. They had everything we needed for our two night stay. Beds were comfortable. hot Breakfast was good for all of us. Eggs, sausage, waffle maker, cereal, yogurt & really good OJ. Definitely could walk into town but we chose to drive. Hikes were great. Maryland Heights hike a must. Appalachian trail hike was good too. Cute town with lots of history. Definitely recommend the Ghost Tour of Harpers Ferry! Parking at National Park center then take free shuttle into town worked great during day. We could park at train station in the evening. $20 entrance fee for 3 days allows you to park in all parking lots. Rabbit Hole eatery was great. Neat atmosphere, beautiful views off deck and delicious food. We are happy we went to Harpers Ferry.…
26 people from our NY hiking group recently stayed at the Harpers Ferry Quality Inn during our annual getaway. We usually choose family-owned accommodations rather than chain hotels because of the personal attention that you get at smaller places, but this hotel treated us like family. It was a pleasure to work with the General Manager (Yin) beforehand to ensure that the needs of a larger group were met, and the staff was wonderful. Everyone went out of their way to make us feel at home. I would highly recommend this hotel for individuals and for groups.
Great hotel for one night stop Hotel is a little tired especially corridors but room was clean and bed comfortable Breakfast good Good location to visit harpers ferry Wi-Fi works Perfect for a one night stop on a road trip Good value. Helpful staff
Our stay at the Quality Inn was an excellent experience (well deserving of the Platinum Award). Upon arrival, the front desk noticed we had bicycles and moved us to a first floor room and invited us to keep the bikes in our room. Outside the exit door was a hose and towel to clean our bikes. Breakfast options included: waffles, eggs, sausage, fruit, yogurt, muffins, cold cereal, packets of oatmeal, milk, apple & orange juices. There is a short connector trail to the AT (go down the driveway, turn left, go 50 feet it's on your right); you can avoid walking along US 340 highway. From the hotel you can ride a few side streets to downtown Harper's Ferry, then push your bike across the foot bridge and ride the C&O Canal Towpath. Bolivar Nature Park is adjacent to the hotel; there are several trails for hiking or a warmup mountain bike ride. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and not musty smelling (as others have said in their reviews).…
Everything you need for a visit to this historic area. The room we stayed in was on the first floor and very quiet although I am certain it was not fully booked, so that may be affected with a full house. The room was very clean although there was some wear on the furnishings . The beds were very comfortable and the linens plentiful. The complimentary breakfast was plentiful and filling especially for hiking or sightseeing. Also we vevery much appreciated the super early start time to get our day started. We will stay here again
Last night Tony and I drove down from Morgantown to Harper's Ferry WV and spent the night near the Shenandoah River at the Quality Inn it's off Rt 340 between Harper's Ferry and Bolivar, WV. The hotel is older but nice. We stayed in room 114 and was pleased. The king size bed was comfortable, cable TV adequate and room clean and comfy Definitely recommend and will stay again if in the area. They offer onsite laundry for guest and a full Hot Breakfast. As a Gold Member of Choice Hotels I was awarded 200 Bonus points. Very pleased!!!
This looks like it started off as a nice hotel and just has not been taken care of. There is garbage lying around on one side, dirty towels, cigarette butts everywhere. First floor smells musty and your clothes stay damp. While we were there the water main got cut and there was no water for 2 days...so we finally left.
I picked this because of it's proximity to town. It is NOT quite walking distance - I mean it could be - but it's pretty hilly. It had a comfy bed and a typical hotel breakfast. Easy please to stay near to town.
My husband and I chose to stay here for its proximity to Harpers Ferry. We enjoyed being able to walk from the hotel to the Appalachian Trail and take that down into town. The hotel was quiet, clean and had friendly staff. Our room had a very comfortable king bed along with a mini fridge and microwave and a good sized shower with great water pressure. Being able to control the heating/cooling ourselves was an added benefit (some hotels have fixed temperatures) and ensured we slept comfortably. Our short stay meant we didn't require housekeeping but were able to put a hanger out to request clean towels and new TV remote batteries which were taken care of. The breakfast area was well stocked with various flavors of oatmeal, two kinds of cereal, muffins, yogurt, breakfast sandwiches, juice and coffee. We will definitely stay again if we return to the area!…
Not only is the place comfortable, clean and convenient, staff take enormous pride in their hotel. Asst manager Alan goes above and beyond to help guests. I had several questions and requests and helped me with all of them with a smile. The rest of the staff is just as good.
