Harper's Ferry was at the end of a 55 mile ride that day and night 5 of a ride from Pittsburgh to DC. We arrived in Harpers tired and grimy after our ride and were met by a very nice member of the staff, I do not remember her name but she gave us a wonderful greeting enhanced as she...

My friends and I were left stranded in Harpers Ferry after we got caught in a ferocious rain storm while biking the C&O Canal Towpath. We had not planned on staying the night in this town, but could not travel any further because of the weather conditions. By the time we got into town, most of the shops were closed....

Nice hotel, wonderful restaurant, great little shopette with tea/coffee attached. Only reason I'm rating a 4/5 is because one night (before 10pm) I took a shower and all of the hot water was used up, had to resort to a cold one, making it a little uncomfortable. Other than that, I would highly recommend!

We rolled into Harper's Ferry on New Years Eve with no intention to stay but once in the town we fell in love with the place and decided we would try to find a room. Out came the smart phones and the race was on to find a place that had a vacancy and would welcome both my wife and...

The bed and breakfast was so lovely. The staff and owner were all lovely and very welcoming and hospitable. The bed and breakfast was relaxed and very comfortable. Our one suggestion would be to make it a bit more clear that the private bathroom for the room is private but not connected to the room. We look forward to returning...

I missed my train, so I looked to find something conveniently located and this was steps away from the train station. What a beautiful place. The architecture is amazing, a step back in history with all the amenities of modern time. Cozy, friendly, helpful, the staff was so wonderful that my daughter and I will return many times over, we...

I was so pleased to be able to stay in such a gorgeous little place. My room was beautifully old fashioned, and Karen was a warm and accommodating host. This building has such a homely, friendly feel. It was lovely to chat with Jessica over coffee in the morning too.

My husband & I flew out from CA to visit our daughter in the Baltimore area. We decided to all spend the night in Harpers Ferry & brush up on our history. The Town's Inn was the perfect place to stay. The quaint old stone building (I LOVE stone!) added greatly to our experience of being in such a historical...

Stayed in the Mountain View room which is small and a bit difficult to get in and out of (banged my head a few times), but authentic to the era (circa 1840). Private bathroom is separate, but clean and functional. A visit to Harpers Ferry is like going back in time. A stay at the Town's Inn adds to the...

***Rates starting at $120*** This family-friendly historic Inn (circa 1840) is located in the center of the Harpers Ferry living history village situated at the confluence of the Shenandoah and Potomac Rivers, just steps from the C&O Canal Towpath and Appalachian Trail, as well as the storybook train station served by Amtrak and MARC trains. Open from 6 a.M. - 10 P.M. Every day of the year, the restaurant on the first level of the Inn offers indoor and patio dining featuring popular cuisine, including homemade specialties and healthy options. Also on the first floor is a Sundry / Snack / Supply Shoppe which has been described as a "high-end convenience store, a mini-health food store, and an old-fashioned country store with local products." The second floor consists of two bedrooms with beautiful slate-tile private bathrooms. A parlor containing a treasure of books, toys, and games is situated on the third floor, along with another bedroom. Free WiFi is available. Step outside and enjoy river views, river sports, hiking, bicycling, museums, shopping, and more in this quaint town that is adjacent to the Harpers Ferry National Historic Park and surrounded by other national parks, farms, and Civil War battlegrounds. Although located only 60 miles from DC, the Inn is "a world away" from life in modern urban and suburban cities.
