We had a wonderful time this weekend at The Ledge House. We stayed in suite 3. The room was great but the view was superb. The highlight of the weekend was our breakfast prepared by the owners. We had a different breakfast each day including fresh eggs from the chickens outside and fresh local peaches. Not one of the guests...

I was only staying one night, and I'm a pretty low-maintenance traveler. Room was big, people were nice/friendly, and breakfast was good. The view from the deck was spectacular. It is an older house, so expect some creaks and groans from the floor, and upstairs rooms share a bathroom. But again, it's a historical area - this is exactly what...

We are glad this guest had a nice stay. I just want to make sure that guests know that the suites up stairs do not share bathrooms. Suite 2's bathroom is in the room and suite 3's is just outside the door.

Just returned from two nights at the Ledge House and enjoyed it very much. Carrie was very accommodating and the food was delicious. They were very helpful suggesting places to see since we had never been to Harpers Ferry. It IS a train town and you will hear trains! We happen to like trains so that was a plus. The...

The house can be a bit challenging to find if you're coming in at night - don't trust your GPS, it's all the way up the hill! The home had a quaint charm and was very comfortable. The master suite (suite 1) is very spacious. The food was delicious and filling as well! The only thing that I wasn't expecting...

I stayed here with my husband, daughter, and mother for what I was expecting to be a very nice experience given the photos I had seen on the website. We stayed in suites 1 and 2. Upon first glance it looked like it would be a nice place to stay, and I really wanted it to be. It seems that...

I really regret that this group did not have a good time. It is hard to for a business owner to see such an awful review. There are times when guests arrive and we know from the start that they should not have chosen a B&B or a house surrounded by woods. This woman arrived angry when she had to...

We stayed at The Ledge House B & B along with another couple that we are friends with and we couldn't have been happier with our experience. Chad greeted us and gave us a lot of good suggestions on what to see, where to eat, etc. He even suggested we do hiking on Sat. and save water sports for Sunday...

We stayed at the Ledge House after cycling the C&O Canal towpath from Hancock - we were tired and very dirty. The owners were very welcoming and showed us where we could hose off our bikes and packs, then they let us get on with things, which is exactly what we wanted. We stayed in suite 3, which has a...

We were there for two nights and had a great stay. Nice breakfast in morning with a wonderful view.oved the creaky old floors and view. Gave it 4 star because I think the shower was a little dingy. It was small and shower curtain was yucky from being too long. I think they need a cloth one that can be...

My wife and I loved our stay here this week. Food was great, view amazing, room was perfect, and the owners were the best of all. Have stayed in other B&B's in Harpers Ferry and after the Ledge House, wouldn't think of staying anywhere else in town. Do yourself a favor...check here first when visiting the region. Ledge House sits a top a hill looking over the river and railroad-it's a beautiful setting. The room we stayed suite 3, in was nice, also with a beautiful view. the bathroom, which was in the hallway was very small and the tub/shower was awkward. Breakfast, which was served at 9am was good. Day 1 breakfast was average, day 2...
