I stopped by the lazy lizard as I was camping and wanted to shower after a long day of hiking in Arches NP. They have their business listed in the market bathroom as a place to shower in the city. I came in and asked for the shower and he was happy to oblige for a $3, which was fine....

We tried booking a hotel, last minute, in Moab, but they were all high priced or full. We got a tip from an anonymous tourist, called Lazy Lizard, and snagged a good, cheap campsite to save the day. The common area, kitchen, showers, etc. were all clean. Will have to remember this place next time we're in Moab.

Three of us stayed in a cabin which was just about the right size for that number.. Shower block was fine. Cheap basic accommodation that ticked the box. Situated on the outskirts of Moab, a bit far out for walking into the town.

Staying at the hostel for two nights while cycling during the day was exactly what I needed. I chatted with many other cyclists and enjoyed not being in a solo room away from everyone else. I stayed in a private room, with shared bath/shower in another building close by. The room was clean, comfortable, and the place enforces quiet hours...

The Lazy Lizard is everything a hostel should be. I stayed in a dorm bed, and it was lovely. Quirky, cozy, and cheap. This is a hostel in the European style with many chances to make new friends, hike buddies, and climbing partners. It was hard to leave.

Moab accommodation can be expensive. This bargain-basement offering is definitely no-frill so go somewhere more expensive if this bothers you. I have found it friendly with diverse interesting guests. Private rooms are basic and adequate as are the shared bathrooms. All very simple, good for me.

My husband and I got stranded in Moab due to a flat tire and were dismayed when we found out how expensive all of the hotels were! Fortunately, we stopped at a restaurant where a very friendly waiter tipped us off to the Lazy Lizard Hostel. We didn't stay in a dorm or tent but booked a private room in...

Husband and I planned on camping in Moab this July. Huge blunder- it was so hot out we looked for a cheap place to stay and landed here. We originally booked one night, then kept re-booking as it fit our needs to stay. There is a main house with dorm style rooms and kitchen. We stayed in one of the...

Our scouting group of 11 adults and teens used the Watermelon House as our base of operations for a multi-day stay in the Moab area and visits to Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. Don't expect anything fancy, but the house is clean, beds are comfortable, and the AC and laundry were a welcome addition. The kitchen has no oven, but...
