I used to live in Moab and now I try to make it down there as often as I can. Apache Motel has now become my go to destination if I'm not camping. It really is the best value in Moab. It's funky, it's charming, and best of all, Larinda at the front desk is a charming, friendly, hardworking staff...

Moab is a great town (like an Alpine ski resort, but without the snow) and the atmosphere is laid back, happy and sporty, but it’s also very seasonal, so there is a lack of hotel rooms for half the year but a lack of demand to build many more hotels, so it’s expensive. For a town so far away from...

We stayed here because we read the "Duke" did. We got to see the room he stayed in while filming in area. It was a really nice room, wished we had known it was available as we would have rented it, as it was really reasonable. A must for all fans. Our room was very nice, comfortable and clean. Nice...

Although the rooms are dated, the employees made me feel extremely welcome. Every time I needed something, they were happy to help... Especially the night manager; she was exceptionally helpful. Being off the the main road was a bonus, in my opinion, as it offered some peace and quiet.

The Apache motel is fun, nice and the ambience great. They do a nice job. I would reccommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, family run good night sleep. They have filmed a lot of movies in the Moab area and a lot of stars have stayed here. In it's day I'm sure it was quite a place!!

The claim to fame for this place is that John Wayne stayed there. Doesn't look like it has been maintained or updated since. We booked it based on other positive reviews or at least not negative ones. There are multiple other better choices in Moab that we discovered in person after leaving this place after 2 nights. We stayed our...

Overnight stop on our journey from the Arches National Park to Monument Valley. Not a bad room but wouldn't stay there again. It was quiet so that made sleeping easy! Breakfast was coffee and pancake. Although off the main drag it was convenient for continuing our journey.

We were looking for an 'affordable' hotel in Moab and this motel came up. It is off the main highway, a little old and not a franchised hotel. Good, pleasant service checking in. The room was a little old-looking but as we unpacked we realized that this room was more convenient than many of the more expensive hotels we had...

Very old motel rooms desperately in need of repair and updates. However, it's probably the cheapest you'll find in Moab w/o being a total nasty dive. If you aren't picky and can get past bathroom doors that don't shut quite right, loose shower handles, and years of built-up dust in the nooks and crannies, this is your place! I found...
