Hotel had no tile floor. There was literally a plague of locus were outside. There was a racon colony under our cabin. Was told at front desk child playground. Found a tube slide suspended by one rusty screw. Horses on $40 tour escaped and was told to stand on pick nick table to not be trampled. Advertised pool. The pool...

It almost felt like we were camping! In the wilderness... *gasp* My craziest night of my life took place in the cabin. I was stirring in my bed as I heard a rat-mouse creature nibble at my bag. I began to chase after a the creature that soon turned out to be a racoon! So... I scared her out and...

I cannot emphasize strongly enough that no one should even consider staying here. I made reservations in June for 3 cabins. We were to stay 1 night in mid-July. Based on their web site and some of the reviews it felt like a good choice. When we arrived, we found all the cabins were in a total state of disrepair....

2012, June - stayed here two nights. Expensive for having to be self contained. Employees rarely in the office. Park looked neglected. The restroom/shower house was closed. They did have a mobile home pulled in and you could use the bathroom in there, but it was a drive away from the camp area. A family pulled in, went looking for...

This was the first and possibly most memorable stop on a long trip. We stayed at the ranch, and were surrounded by it's sheer beauty. The next morning, my husband was up at daybreak and took a walk while I slept, capturing the area on our newl camera. What a treat because we now have some wonderful pictures..

Like another reviewer, I arrived at 5 p.m.. Had a reservation for a one-room cabin and wanted to go horseback riding. The office was locked, the place was a dump, no people or horses to be found. The pool was so funny I actually took a picture of it to send to people as a joke. It was falling apart...

Overpriced tool shed. Took two "cabins" before we found one that was livable. What a dump. I'm trying hard to see how this place was ever much. For $20 it would have been ok...sorta. The Badlands is a nice visit but I wouldn't spend the night around here again. A couple hours is plenty unless you're into hiking/climbing.

We were so excited to go to the Badlands Resort. I originally made a reservation about a month before we were going to be in SD. I was told by the staff at the badlands resort that there were two horse trail rides that went out a day that it had a swimming pool and their website indicated that they...

We started our visit to the Bad Lands and per there Website it looked great. When we arrived I paid for a week But After 1 day we decided to leave and find a real Campground. It is under new management and it just went down the tubes. We asked and setup a trail ride and I was told they...
