This is long overdue, but what am amazing place nestled in the Badlands of South Dakota! We spend one night at the Circle View and wished it were two! Phil and Amy were amazing hosts. Phil took the kids around the farm to help with chores-they loved it! They have 3 kids who love to entertain the younger guests, so...

I am not sure how we found or decided to stay here, but I am really glad that we did. Amy, the proprietor, booked us into a double queen bed room. We were driving in from Mitchell, SD and wanted to arrive in time to watch the debate, but a little fearful of who else might be staying there and...

What a nice family ranch. No cattle but lots of chickens. Children lead a tour of feeding the chickens & gathering the eggs after breakfast. Wonderful tradition. Best breakfast buffet ever had & all home cooked. No place close for a descent dinner but we servived the Wagon Wheel in Interior a couple miles away. Badlands Visitor Center several miles...

We stayed here during a family trip to the Badlands. We were greeted by a friendly wild burro at the door outside. We also met a puppy and a cat before we got inside the beautifully situated ranch house. The location is on top of a large plateau in the Badlands. They have chickens, cattle, wild donkeys, cats and a...

It was a recommendation from a friend who had stayed here 2 years ago, and I would definitely continue the recommendation! This was by far the best place we stayed at on our road trip to South Dakota, Hands down. We stayed 3 nights on the ranch, and Amy and her husband were warm and wonderful hosts - the breakfasts...

Our family stayed here in August after a trip through the Black Hills and the Badlands. This was our kids favorite part of the trip (ages 8 and 5). They loved feeding the chickens and the cow and we loved enjoying drinks on the patio enjoying the beautiful view of the river. We were pleasantly surprised that we were bumped...

My husband and I spent 3 nights on the Ranch last weekend and had a blast. There are so many things to do on the ranch (i.e. resting, hiking, agate collecting, hanging with Boomer the dog, Jack the Donkey and the cats, chickens, etc.). The breakfast in the morning is outstanding and the rooms are very comfortable and Phil and...

The owners and employees are very kind. We just loved everything about this place. It was very family-oriented, no TV's (yeah), games for kids and adults, several decks that overlooked the prairies/ranch. A playful and entertaining dog and cat (they stayed outside) had everyone chuckling, chickens. The sunrise was fun and the best part was the breakfast. All homemade and...

I was a solo traveler coming to take in the Badlands and lucked out to stay here. The ranch is located just a few miles outside the park and gives a good sense of the community. It's located on top of a hill, offering beautiful sunsets and gorgeous views. The room was so clean and decorated like an HGTV set....

This was our 3rd visit to the ranch and it was every bit as welcoming, beautiful and comfortable as I remembered. And the best breakfast ever! We stayed in the Suite off the playroom/ game room and found it even better than the cabins for a family of 5. Two rooms with our own mini kitchen and couch gave us...
