No frills usually ok but when ur in the middle of no where not so much. No tv, free breakfast wifi or Internet. No restaurant open after breakfast at site and the two in town are beer joints. The wagon wheel will poison you and this place recommends it. Lucky cedar lodge in park is not far. Room here was... More

Cute place' very affordable.groceries a half mile away. Pool, laundry ,camping, restaurant with home cooked food. Clean and large rooms. Can't beat it. Two miles from badlands visitors center. Great find. Friendly staff. Everything else around is way too expensive.

This is a great motel and campground. We called around 11:30 pm looking for a place when everything within a 100 mile radius was booked due to the weekend and Sturgis. The gentleman on the phone said all they had was a camping cabin which is like a bunk house for $29 a night. He told us the number and... More

I wanted to undo some of the damage of the bad reviews of this hotel on the website. We wanted to see the night sky show at Badlands Nat Park and wanted a hotel nearby so we would not be travelling in the dark 35 miles to a city (Wall). Given the bad reviews on this website I was skeptical,... More

We stayed in the campground. The hosts were very friendly and came out to check on everyone when a storm cell blew through. The showers were clean and the water was hot. Pool was clean. Breakfast was plentiful and reasonable... Tasted great. I will return.

You have limited options if you want to stay within close proximity to the park and not camp outside. This one is perfectly adequate for a quick stay. Rooms were very basic and small, but clean. The people who checked us in were very nice. Also found it convenient that they sell a few standard provisions in the main building,... More

Immaculate!!!! One mile to Badlands national park entrance. Views. Hosts go beyond call of duty to be hospitable and helpful, they gave me detailed directions to many places in area and printed out directions to get me to Denver on my departure. Stayed 3 nights and wish it could have been longer. would definitely go back. Beautiful drive on scenic... More

I chose the Budget Host to be close to the Badlands and it is just outside the gate. At first glance I wasn't too sure I wanted to stay. As it turns out, the staff was friendly and the room, although dated and no TV (didn't bother me) was clean and large with a mini fridge. Bedding needs updating. We... More

There are very limited lodging options in the Badlands and this place was the right price! The owners were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, but dated/basic. The pool was definitely a nice bonus for this area! Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here because of the proximity to the Badlands. Being so close to the Badlands was perfect, and the motel was quiet. When we arrived, the owners' dog in the office was friendly. The room was pretty basic, no TV, outdated decor, clean. It was quiet when we arrived, but when neighbors had arrived, you could hear them moving... More
