Great place with good food, cozy rooms with comfortable beds, friendly staff, hot pool and beautiful views. 3rd trip to the ranch and never disappointed. Great back country motorcycle riding, hiking, Jeeping and fishing. Oh yea, horses. They have horses.

We were a group of 14. 7 adults 7 kids. Service and activity communication run like a well oiled machine. All meals are prepared, and then snacking is like being at home. Rooms are well looked after and clean. The location is out there, and its breathtaking. The spa is mind boggling perfect. The water is hot and it's awesome. There's...

This ranch is perfect for families with children or families without children. A very relaxing and has an awesome program for the week. Great hot springs pool to soak in after a great horseback riding trail. High recommend the ranch.

We just returned from a week with mine and my brother's family at Waunita Hot Springs Ranch. Three of our kids said it was the "best vacation ever". The absolute best compliment I can give is that one of my brother's children has a wish coming from the "Make a Wish Foundation", he said that of course his wish would...

My wife and I took our daughter and three grandkids age 6,8,10. Although a bit hard to get to the setting is well worth the effort. A 50 year plus family run ranch is where you can be with kids or not worry about them. Ride horses as much or little you want, hayride with s'mores, square dance, trout, swim...

This was our 3rd visit to Waunita Hot Springs. Our first visit was in 89, we took our twin sons (age 12). We returned 4 years later in 93. Then life got busy with college, marriages, and grandkids. One of our sons decided to take his kids back to the ranch this year. My wife and I jumped in and...

Just finished my eighth week at Waunita Hot Springs Dude Ranch. Since 2009, my wife and I have been bringing children and grandchildren to this home away from home in western Colorado. The ranch is about 20 miles from the nearest town and includes a drive of 9 miles down a dirt road. The Pringle family who has been running...

I enjoyed my stay and it was just what I needed. I had wondered about this place, spurred by driving by the highway sign about twenty times over the last six months, moving East to West on highway 50. The dirt-road drive goes by quickly, more so if one enjoys the views and adjacent cattle ranching. Moo!!! The hot springs...

We stayed with a church group on a ski vacation. It's a bit far from the ski area-45 minute drive, but it's worth it! The food is Deliscious. The dinner bell rung for us at 6pm and breakfast at 7:30am and believe me no one was late for a meal. The rooms are rustic with no tv, but it's very...

We visited Waunita Hot Springs this past weekend (February) with about 30 people on a Colorado Mountain Club trip. Great breakfasts and dinners were included, served cafeteria style. The hot springs are great. No sulfur smell. The pool was comfortably warm and the natural hot tub was perfectly hot for soaking. Beautiful scenery and great cross country skiing and snow...
