I've stayed here several times. It's been consistently clean and the staff has always been courteous. If you want to get in on the complimentary breakfast, I recommend you go early. Once they put it out, I've never seen them replenish anything, even if a greedy herd comes in and takes food by the buckets full.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Alpine Inn. After a few hours of snowshoeing in the Rockies, I really appreciated having a hot tub to soak in. The room was big, the bed comfortable and the shower very nice. The biggest surprise was a free hot breakfast with eggs, biscuits and gravy along with cereals, breads and more. The...

This hotel was near the edge of the western side of Gunnison. We were pleased by the quality of the room for the low price. They served a hot breakfast, and our room on the first floor was quiet and dark- perfect for sleeping. There is an indoor pool which was covered. The desk clerk said they would remove the...

We ran into bad weather to cross me March pass and stopped for the night. Very affordable. Room was really clean. Most ever comfortable bed in a hotel I have slep in. Mornings nag breakfast was good. This will be a place I keep in my nod again. Front desk very polite.

I booked this room for my husband because he needed a place to stay on an overnight business trip. The smoke alarm kept beeping throughout the night. The clerk at the front desk had no batteries and would not give my husband a new room. I would not recommend this hotel.

Great price. Clean. Rotary phone. Not super fancy but I like simple anyway. Staff is conscientious and great. Straight up no gimicks, try real hard. Authentic Alpine experience. Suite has fridge and microwave. Easy to access from I-50. Breakfast continental.

For the thrifty price tag, I honestly didn't have high expectations. And the accommodations were just fine. The problem was with the customer service. They didn't have a record of my transaction with Travelocity, which required me to access my bank account to prove the room had already been paid for. The clerk informed me that Travelocity "ripped me off"...

We stayed here for three nights between Christmas and New Years and definitely will stay there again when we go through Gunnison. While it's not quite on the Main Street, you can get around town easily. Easy access to the free bus that goes up to Crested Butte Resort, and that was our main reason for staying. Gunnison is a...

I shall start with the (only sort of) down-sides: they like to air out the rooms, so be sure to check that the window and any door to another room is properly locked. Don't expect a view--just draw the curtains tight. No dogs. I have stayed in this hotel numerous times and the room has always been perfectly cleaned, the...

Our large family gathered and stayed at The Alpine Inn for extended weekend to attend a funeral. The staff was great! Very accommodating. The rooms were clean. Nice breakfast. The lounge area was perfect for our family gathering together.
