The staff were wonderful. I stayed in a double room for one night with my brother. Getting to the hotel is a little strange the road is curvy. If you're looking for a romantic hotel to escape to Asheville with your partner this maybe wouldn't be my first choice. It is about a 10 minute drive to downtown. If you looking for a hotel close to the highway and the Asheville Outlet Mall this might be a good choice. It is an older property that has been redone. The bed was fine and the shower had hot water. I wasn't a fan of the cable tv. There was no cable guide and the channels moved very slowly. Maybe this was due to the remote. I did notice a whirlpool hot tub but didn't use it. There really wasn't much for the complimentary breakfast. I had some coffee, fruit, and a cereal bar. I never expect much. Overall my stay was decent. The staff were great!…
Nice, recently renovated place. Stayed in a suite, but still had very small, one person bathroom. Great for one person extended stay or overnight for couples or family. My wife used the app to check in, which made her phone our key-odd not having personal interaction, but that is not a slam against the hotel
Very cheaply run hotel. Poor at best breakfast, no coffee in lobby and basically run for owners profit only. Envoy, very disappointed in your product . Save your money find another hotel. Very over priced. Sorry we stopped to stay at that hotel.
Checked in at desk, pleasant young woman handled arrival. Later upon returning from dinner - walked into bathroom and unbeknownst to me, floor was flooded and I slipped, nearly falling and aggravating my back. Called to report water on floor in bathroom and hallway - same woman said no maintenance available, no manager available but she could move us to another room. She ran up with another key and said she would report to manager. Next morning upon checkout, I asked for manager - she's not there but there was a note about the incident and I would be contacted by manager. No one ever contacted me. We usually stay here twice a year but will look for other accommodations in the future.
This hotel is located in an area with a lot of road construction. The staff was not helpful at all with directions to the hotel. There was not a lot around in this area and if I return to Asheville I would probably stay in a different area. My granddaughters enjoyed the indoor pool.
