My husband and I stayed here for three nights and we really enjoyed ourselves. Check in was easy with a clipboard system at the office. We stayed in tent site 2 which was nice and quiet. There are people who live at the end of the road so sometimes you'll see a car drive by but they were all very...

Campsites are spectacular. Best views I've ever had at a campground. You are definitely above the clouds! Security is fantastic! You don't have to worry about locking your camper. People are great and friendly. A must stay for anybody camping in the Smokey's!

My wife and I stayed on site P2 May 26-30 in our 42ft Class A and had a wonderful time. We will definitely return! The view is breathtaking and the sites are planned out very well. We read a few reviews stating concern over the drive "up" to the campground. Because of those reviews we decided to disconnect our Tow...

We stayed in a premium site for a week and couldn't have been happier. This campground is at the top of a mountain, and the views are unbelievable. Our concrete site was clean and well maintained, with a picnic table and fire pit in our "yard". The drive up to the campground was a gravel road, which was no problem...

The view from the campground of Asheville was spectacular! We were treated to a nice sunset, but the sunrise and constantly changing view of the mountains as the morning fog burned off was spectacular. we arrived late, so our contact with the staff was limited, but friendly and informative. There are plenty of hiking trails from the main camp area....

Glad you enjoyed and the ride up the road was worth it! We do try to keep the bathhouse clean 24/7 but we don't always succeed.

We stayed 5 nights in site D13 and thoroughly enjoyed it. The Lookout is a fantastic place to spend mornings and evenings looking over the mountains. The drive to the top was a bit scary at first but not a problem with the right vehicle. Jason was a great host and was very helpful.

The view is not as stellar as advertised. A few spots have great views. Ours did not. The road up to the top of the mountain was very dusty. They sell propane, but the qualified person was not available to fill my tank. I had to travel to Ashville to refill my tank. It is not on my list of...

What a place! Absolutely beautiful. Stormy is the best camp host ever. Not to discredit the others, the entire staff is wonderful. The view is incredible and the place is neat as s a pin. Everything you could wish for in a campground and more. We only spent 3 nights but now wish we stayed longer. So much to do...

When you live in Florida, you really appreciate the time you spend "in the mountains." Campfire Lodgings was the perfect place to park our toy hauler and enjoy mountain living for a week. The grounds are kept beautifully. We weren't able to get the premium spaces with the amazing views (highly recommend - reserve early!) but the deluxe spots were...

By far the best campground in the area! The staff are extremely helpful, going above and beyond what we would expect from camp ground staff! This is a very small, private campground and very quiet! We love it because we are only minutes from Asheville but the view from the campground s phenomenal! We have camped here for three years...
