The owner, BJ, is rude, inconsiderate and mean! I found myself in need of a room for two nights last week. I did not have access to a computer so I asked a friend to find me a hostel in Asheville at an affordable price. I have previously stayed in hostels many times. My credit card was used to make...

I stayed at Asheville Hostel & Guest House along with my boyfriend in October. We drove from Indiana and were running a bit late (we didn't arrive until after midnight). The staff member onsite welcomed us and even sat down with us to show a map of the hostel's surroundings. We were shown to our room where there were clean...

I always stay in hotels when traveling but this hostel is just great! You can simply not beat the location as it is located in walking distance of all cool places in Asheville. The hostel is super clean. The rooms are big and the sheets and towels are nice, clean and soft. i was a bit worried about noise, but...

This is a great hostel - very clean and 5 minute walk to Aston and Biltmore. It's definitely a hostel - shared bathroom, no TV in the bedroom - but you do get your own private room. The price is impossible to beat - I paid $60 (it was just me) per night, Friday and Saturday. There is also a...

My friend and I decided to take a road trip to Asheville and I found the guesthouse online and we decided to give it a try. It's a very good value - modest price, very clean, very friendly staff, amazing location. We had a great weekend!

I've spent a lot of time in hostels & guest houses in Europe, but none compare to Asheville Hostel & Guest House, which is clean, comfortable and has all the amenities you would need for a great stay. The guys who run the hostel meet & greet you and talk you through Asheville downtown on a map and recommend nearby...

This place can not be beat when it come to all around value. It is in a perfect location to walk to many of Asheville's brew-pubs and shops. The hostel was clean and the staff were helpful and friendly.

For $50 a night for a private room in the heart of downtown with free parking and breweries and restaurants within walking distance, what's not to love? Rooms were clean and I never had an issue with noise. If you haven't been, Asheville is a cool town. Maybe my favorite city/town on the east coast!

I stayed at ALOFT the last time I wanted to stay right in downtown. This place is only two blocks away.....at 1/3 the cost. This was first time staying anything other than hotels when I travel, but it didn't disappoint. I had stayed at "tiny house" which is a converted shack behind the house. It is self-contained with its own...
