I was hesitant about this place when booking because it was so affordable that I thought something has to be wrong. I was wonderfully surprised! It's beautiful and very clean. The staff was very friendly, there was great coffee in the lobby in the morning and it's very close to downtown (less than 5 mins). I highly recommend checking it...

The motel/hotel is decent enough. The room and bathroom were clean. You can definitely see their attempt at modernizing a motor inn with new furnishings, paint, etc. Bed wasn't very comfortable, but the real problem is bed bugs. We checked into a downstairs room (20) and halfway through the night, I woke up with bed bug bites on my upper...

Dear Ms. Choe - thank you for taking the time to offer a review of your stay. We are extremely sorry to hear of your experience and will do our best to address it now. The room is a typical size, 2 queens, with desk, fridge, microwave, TV etc. You can tell it was remodeled from an older facility- new features but hints of the past peeking through here and there. The bed is new and, fortunately for my bad back, pretty flat/hard. Not a Marriott bed, but not a Marriott price either and generally...

Although the outside is a little dated, the inside is very clean and neat. The fact that the room was a third cheaper than other rooms in the area made it an easy choice. The bed was comfortable and Ruth was a great help at the front desk. I would stay here again. The only complaint that I have is...

This is a newly decorated "boutique" motel. The rooms were clean and very nicely decorated. The free breakfast was a tiny step up with microwaveable burritos and Jimmy Dean sausage, egg and cheese biscuits. The location is a quick 5 minute drive to downtown. Everything about the stay was pleasant and acceptable. The word " boutique" just makes you have...

We stayed at the Beaucatcher Motel for three days. The motel was very nice and the renovation looked very good. The bed was really comfortable and have only good reviews for the motel. It is very conveniently located to many of Asheville's attractions. Downtown is just a few minutes away.

Read the reviews, decided to form our own opinion. Glad we did! Very nice staff in the office, Ruth went above and beyond to welcome us.Traveled from Washington state to visit Asheville, the hotel provided great maps and recommendations of sights to see, which included historical sights, breweries and great dining experiences. Loved everything about Asheville and The Beaucatcher. Rooms...

Expected a little better from other reviews. Neither the bathroom sink nor tub drained properly, the shower curtain had significant mold and mildew on the bottom, the bedspread was stained, and cleaning was less than thorough (paper trash on the windowsill in the bathroom, dirty footprints in the entry way). The bed was fairly comfortable and the location is great....

This hotel was not clean. First of all, we overpaid big time for this hotel. We stayed in October on a weekend while escaping the coast for hurricane Matthew. There was literally not a single other hotel room/cabin/airbnb/etc in asheville or hendersonville under 350 dollars a night. We paid over 200 dollars a night for this god awful hotel. I...

Yes, the exterior pictures are a little deceiving. They are undergoing a major renovation and the rooms are about 99% complete. The interiors have all the modern conveniences you'd expect from a chain hotel, even though this is an independent. The manager did tell me that they plan a brand change with a new name, new marquee sign etc. Personally,...
