Went to Asheville for the night. Stayed at the Days Inn on Tunnel Road. It was nice. Ate dinner at Frank's (90 S Tunnel Road) food was awesome. Bought chocolate from The Chocolate Fetish. Everything was great.

The cottages are about 15 minutes from the estate, very close to the arboretum which as some great hikes, and also to the Blue Ridge Pkwy. It is quiet and peaceful but there are a dozen or so cottages and "civilization" is roughly 2 minutes away. LOL. you NEVER feel uncomfortable in the least. I highly recommend them, they're amazing
