Stayed in Snuggle Inn for a couple nights over a fall weekend (colorful trees). The rate was much more affordable than any other hotel in Asheville. A little rough around the edges, and housekeeping could have been a bit better. But the charm is there, and it was comfortable.

Small cabins are somewhat primitive, but nice. The larger cabins are very nice and modern. Only complaint is the constant freeway noise, it is next to a major freeway. Price seems good, considering. If you are just getting a room, probably a good deal, if you don't expect modern bathrooms, etc. Quaint, it is, but the freeway noise we found... More

This is a collection of 20 little authentic log houses built in 1929. They vary in size from very tiny with twin beds and a shower bath to the one we stay in, cabin 20 called "Top 'O The Hill" which has a living room, wood-burning fireplace, separate bedroom with a queen sized bed, an alcove with a pyramid bunk,... The cabin we picked this time, Snuggle Inn, was really cute. A little smaller than the magic of the internet made it look...but perfect! We didn't run into any staff while there, but we did see them floating around, delivering towels and maintaining the yard spaces. The wifi works perfect, the cable had a great channel selection, the bed was... More

For my niece's weeding, my sister rented Cabin 21, which is called the Black Bear Lodge. It has room for 10 so it was a great size for the 7 of us. With a full kitchen, we brought our own food for breakfast and lunch. There was even a washer and dryer with laundry detergent provided. We enjoyed sitting on... More

This is a older property that has been upgraded and some of the cabins are newer. We had a nice small cabin for two and enjoyed it as something new and different. It was not the standard "row" cabins we've seen. These are all free standing, surrounded by trees and in the foothills. They are clean and well kept. They... More

We were so looking forward to a cozy log cabin our whole trip. What a letdown when we got there. The room is tiny. The windows don't lock. We felt dirty. Temperature outside was mid to upper 80"s and there was no air conditioning. Their website states that there is a/c. Well, we were told they just took the window... More

We were surprised to receive this review of our historic cabins. The website photos show the cabins inside and out giving guests an indication of the size of the cabins and amenities available. The air conditioning units were just removed for the fall/winter season so they could be cleaned and ready for spring/summer, this is something we do every year.... More

We stayed at the Log Cabin Motor Court last week. 5 miles north of downtown Asheville on merrimon Ave. very easy access to town. The cabins are adorable. We had a king size bed room attached to the kitchen and bathroom. The cabins are tiny and rustic and not for everyone. Not the Grove Park Inn. But it's not meant... More

We chose this place because we were traveling with our dogs and they are very dog friendly. While small it was a fun place to escape to. They have a nice fenced in dog area and the cabins themselves are in very good condition considering their age (1930s). Very rustic and comfy. Our cabin had a great fireplace and very... More

These cabins are quaint and cozy if you like things on the "rustic" side. Authentic Bavarian restaurant on the premises. Dog friendly, and the staff is wonderful. Close proximity to downtown Asheville (great food & drink) and the Blue Ridge Parkway (beautiful, scenic views).
