This is our third time staying at CSI in 5 years and it is the only place we will ever stay when we visit. Emilie, Arturo, and hospitality folks are truly wonderful. They accommodate our vegan dietary requirements with ease and deliciousness. They have the BEST recommendations for what to do and where to eat. The inn itself is charming, perfectly situated downtown, and immaculate…not to mention it frequently smells like amazing baked goods (don’t worry, you get to eat them- served fresh daily). We felt very safe staying during the pandemic because of their COVID protocols including masks in common areas and tasty bagged breakfasts. 10 out of 10 recommend!!

Property's Favourite Review
I had been reluctant to travel over the past few months due to the ongoing COVID pandemic, but took a chance on a road trip that included a stay at this delightful B&B in Asheville. I am so thrilled that I did. Emilie and Arturo were ideal hosts - warm, welcoming, well-informed - and it was clear that they had gone to great lengths to make sure their property was safe and clean for their guests. The check-in process was not only easy, but also contactless, which made me at ease right off the bat. Rooms were elegant, comfortable, and clean. A delicious breakfast of homemade yogurt, fruit, cookies, and other treats was served as a portable picnic and the Inn has been thoughtfully modified for safe dining - sanitized tables, socially distant rockers on the porches. Overall, this was a wonderful getaway in these trying times and I look forward to visiting again soon!

Thank you so much for your review, Thomas! As one of our first guests back at the inn after NC reopened, it was wonderful to get feedback on our new procedures and contactless protocol. We are thrilled you enjoyed your stay, and most importantly, felt safe while staying with us. We will look forward to your next visit from FL!

What a wonderful retreat! We spent four nights at the chestnut inn and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms are beautifully decorated with luscious sheets and fluffy towels. We spent our mornings and evenings in the rocking chairs on the porch.

This was our first stay and it was a fabulous experience. One of the best B&Bs we have stayed at. We would highly recommend this facility. Location is close to city center dining and 10-15 min from Biltmore. The rooms were large and very clean. Complimentary Port wine & beer available to guests. The breakfast is picnic style because of Covid restrictions, but still very delicious. The hosts are terrific and attentive to every detail. One of the BEST!!

Beautiful inn. Even though breakfast wasn't a traditional B&B breakfast because of covid, it was delicious! Owners are really nice. It's close enough to everything downtown that you can walk or have a short drive. We will definitely stay again if we come back to ashville.
