We stayed three nights at The Lion and the Rose in the Margaret Grace room. Everything was perfect. The room was charming and romantic and we had lovely walks into town. Lisa and Madelyn were fantastic hosts, even allowing the dogs out to play in the yard at my husband's request! The breakfasts were delicious, and Lisa happily accommodated my...

We stayed in the 3rd floor suite, which was just lovely. A little balcony was the perfect place to enjoy the afternoon and read. Lisa was a fabulous hostess - showed us around the common areas and then showed us all about our room. Breakfast was incredible both mornings! We had an amazing asparagus and egg "appetizer" on day one...

My husband and I recently stayed at The Lion and the Rose Bed and Breakfast for part of our honeymoon. We loved it! We booked the Craig Toms Suite, which is the only room on the third floor. It's very spacious with a bedroom (which includes comfy chairs and a gas fireplace and access to a small balcony), living area...

My friends and I stayed here when visiting Biltmore and had a wonderful experience! Our rooms were very clean and comfy, and charmingly furnished! The breakfast each morning (we stayed 3 nights) was carefully crafted...delicious and beautifully presented! The owner was so welcoming and friendly! We would definitely recommend this to others!

This place was so lovely. My partner booked a weekend here for a birthday vacation for me and it did not disappoint at all. We stayed for two nights and three days in a super cute room on the second floor, with access to plenty of books and movies if we wanted, and with access to a whole downstairs/outside with...

Loved our stay! After a long drive and late arrival, Lisa was more than gratuitous. It was a great location and breakfast was amazing. Even on the day we missed breakfast, she packed us snacks for our adventure.

The Lion and the Rose puts a weekend in Asheville over the top. From delicious morning meals, to awe-inspiring rooms, this B&B has it all. Lisa was so kind to point us in the right direction regarding any question we had; whether it was restaurants, shopping, views, you name it! I'd highly recommend this B&B if you want to be...

This beautiful home proved to be the perfect place for our 3-night visit to Asheville to celebrate my husband's birthday. The bedroom was a gorgeous combination of old-world charm mixed with modern comforts. Lisa, the innkeeper, has a background in restaurant/catering and it really shows in her breakfast presentations! Beautiful to look at and yummy to eat. Since we're also...

My family gathered this weekend to celebrate my parents 50th anniversary at the Lion and the Rose B&B. We had a wonderful time. Lisa was so helpful in helping us plan a weekend that celebrated this important milestone. From his and her desserts to setting up a 50th anniversary table scape, Lisa was willing and happy to help. Breakfasts were...

From the beginning of our trip until the end, Lisa was amazing! Our rooms were beautifully decorated and the whole atmosphere felt like a dream. I have celiacs disease, so eating at B&B's usually a headache but I was given DELICIOUS food every meal and they even provided snacks in the snack kitchen that were gluten free. I would come...
