Came up for a girls' weekend, and were thrilled to find this gem! The 3 of us stayed in Cottage 7, which was just precious. Loved the big front and back porches, the sweet kitties who welcomed us and saw us off, and the cute little kitchenette. The landscaping all around was so pretty! Like the reviews before me said,...

We're glad you enjoyed cottage 7. We are still in the process of replacing our bedding with quality pillow-top mattresses. We hope you will come back and see us again soon!

We booked this little cottage for a two night stay while visiting Asheville NC. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Room had a king size bed. Very clean with a small kitchen if you chose to cook something. Definitely would recommend. Was very reasonable and close enough to Asheville.

We were in for a short stay, and having lived in the area for years it was interesting to be a guest. It was nice, cool in the evening, and had the amenities for a comfortable stay. There was a little road noise but it was largely blocked by the pines. I recommend it.

Although an older cottage this small cottage had appeal. There have been updates through the years, but, the basic rustic feel remains. This cottage has a king size bed that was most comfortable. A full kitchen, although small to some standards, is very adequate. Electrical plug ins are not many, so some areas do double duty. Not bad though and...

Thank you for your review, Jerry. We're glad you enjoyed cottage 2. Each cottage and cabin on our property is unique. Next time you visit, try cottage 7. It is larger, has a fireplace, front porch, back patio, and the bathroom has a bathtub/shower combo. We look forward to seeing you again!

If you need a cozy place to stay, close to town, want to feel a bit rustic, this is the place. It is kind of loud near the highway, but not toooooo loud. The cabin we stayed in was wonderful, good size and we'd probably go back.

These cottages are vintage and quite adorable. I read the information about being near a roadway and the potential for road noise. In fact, the cabins, particularly the two at the top of the hill, back up to Interstate 26. Cars and tractor trailers are zooming by about a hundred yards from the cabin. Although the noise is muffled inside...

Thank you for staying with us. We're sorry to hear that the road noise affected the enjoyment of your stay with us. We hope you will visit again and try a different cottage. You will find that the cottages in the middle and lower part of the property are quieter.

First of all, I LOVED our cottage. It was so cute and they had every essential you can think of. They really cover all of the bases with the amenities. We had a king size bed which, in this size cottage was pretty great. It was the biggest piece of furniture in the whole cottage. Access to the Pines is...

Thank you for your review. We removed the AC unit that was in the bathroom and installed a new unit in the main room. Unfortunately, because of the height of the ceilings in the cottages, we are unable to put in ceiling fans. The broken door window was an unfortunate maintenance issue that took me some time to fix, but...

The location is convenient to downtown at less than 6 miles. There is a nice Ingles if you turn right out of the property. Lots of surrounding restaurants, though we mostly ate downtown for lunch/dinner. I stayed in cottage 8 with my sister for 3 nights and 4 days from Monday through Thursday during the month of July. Upon arrival,...

Each cabin is a stand alone little cottage that is older but well kept. There are several close by restaurants and the property is between a major road and freeway. But they are fun and close to everything. This is our second stay here and we will come again.
