I stayed at the Marriott Copley for a conference during the last week of June. I had a room on one of the highest floors with two double beds. The view of the surroundings was outstanding; the room itself adequate but not particularly memorable. The hotel staff were all kind, courteous, and accustomed to dealing with large groups of people....

We arrived to thd hotel via airport bus which stopped about 2 blocks or so from the hotel. It wasn't bad and was cheaper than renting a car or cab. The staff greeted us as we were there for business and leisure. The staff was helpful particularly the front desk attendant. The room was very nice and the view overlooking...

Woman in the reception was very good. Rooms were like everywhere else in the same type of hotels. Very convenient for shopping as it is connected to 2 shopping centers. It is convenient to have several restaurant options downstairs but many options also close to the hotel.

First, let me say that the elevators where working fine. There were some relatively recent reviews about work on the elevators. I was there the week of July 4th and everything worked perfectly. The customer service, including valet service, was excellent. I asked for a late check out due to my flight and it was granted with no problem. There...

We were here for a conference for my husband, so we got a better rate. I don't think we'd choose to swing it otherwise. But if you're here, can't beat the location. It's close to 2 T-stops (underground subway), a Shaw's supermarket, the Boston Public Library and the Boston Public Gardens. We walked the mile plus to Boston Common and...

I stayed in this hotel during the summer. The best thing was the area in which it was located, Back Bay is a very good neighbourhood with great restaurants around and nice shops. However, I believe that there are many other great hotels in the area. This marriot has little personality and is very simple in many ways. Although the...

Dear Maria, Thank you to you and your family for staying with us during your visit to the Boston area. I was pleased to learn that you enjoyed our great location and that our staff was pleasant. I am sorry that our lobby was, at times, busy. As a large, downtown convention hotel, it is possible at times that large...

We spent 10 days in Boston in early July and had booked rooms at the Marriott Copley Place. It is very centrally located and within walking distance of most of the main attractions in Boston. Our room was on the 26th floor and looked out over the reflecting pool at the Church of Christ Scientist. The room was quite large...

I stayed at the Boston Marriott Copley Place for a conference in June. Service, people, rooms - everything was excellent. Since the soccer tournaments were going on, there were plenty of TVs on in the lobby/restaurant area to watch your favorite team. A great place to stay for business or pleasure!

I have travelled to Boston about twice for the past three summers each. I have to say that this Marriott is top notch. I usually arrive several hours before check in time and more often than not, they have a room available for me. The service is fast and efficient and their pricing is fair. After staying at many hotels...

Spent Fourth of July weekend here. The hotel is located in great area. Within walking distance from Fenway if you don't mind lower bit longer walk. On a rainy day it was great to be able to walk to the mall through the walkway that connects hotel to the mall. Close to good restaurants and shopping, large grocery store right...

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
