I have stayed at this hotel twice. Once with the family and once alone on a business trip. The location is excellent. Attached to a huge mall and walking distance to much of the Copley area. It is very busy in the lobby during peak hours and the elevators are a bit confusing. BUT once you get to your floor...

Second stay at the Copley Marriot was another good one. The room we had provided us with fantastic views of the city. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. Only drawback was a 1 hour wait for room service.

Had the Great pleasure of staying here , arriving Sunday 30th of November. I was allocated 2605. The room was extremely well appointed. I must say this is probably one of the most cleanest hotel rooms I've ever stayed in. The immaculate attention to detail and high cleaning standards really shone through. Every staff member that I came across was...

Our planed was delayed by 2 1/2 hr. So it was nice that when we arrived to be greeted with a cookie and apple cider. Check-in was quick and easy. One negative was that Wi-Fi is $13 per day. Comfort Inns do not charge for Wi-Fi so why do upscale hotels charge?

Just spent 4 nights in the Boston Marriott Copley Place for a Thanksgiving shopping trip. The hotel is gorgeous, with really friendly, helpful staff. It has a great pool/spa area, a lovely bar (Connexions) and Champions restaurant. Yes, I hear you say, but don't all hotels have that? Maybe, but not all hotels have a Starbucks in the lobby, an...

As to be expected comfortable bedrooms and well looked after. The negatives were in the eating side. There is only one place to eat, Chamions. That is fine. As far as it goes, but the menu is very limited. I am sure it appeals to those who need fast foods. Breakfast buffet is again standard. The alternatives to the buffet...

This is a nice hotel with a great location that is central to many Boston attractions. Being mall adjacent also gives a great indoor place to walk and dine. My only complaint was their old school need to charge for Wi-Fi. There is free service in parts of the lobby / public areas, but if you pay the high room...

We stayed here for a couple of night in suite 3640, the view was spectacular, the room clean and the beds comfortable....However, the water in the bathroom was luke warm all the time, and never hot....The elevators are very slow, with an above average wait time, however they are going through an upgrade which should speed things along....The breakfast is...

Boston is one of our favorite cities to visit and we like the Back Bay area as it is close to where we usually perform. The Marriott is a "practical" hotel. All Marriotts are basically the same design, layout and they all have a loud sports bar in the lobby - a significant turnoff for me. The good thing about...

Thanks for providing feedback on your recent stay with us. I am pleased to hear Boston is one of your favorite cities and that you enjoyed our central location to the malls and train station. I am disappointed to hear of your interaction with our staff and overall impression of the guestroom. Your comments have been shared with my team...

This is a great location that allows for an easy walk to most attractions this side of the Boston Common. The hotel itself is a typical business hotel, with comfortable well ventilated and spacious rooms. The restaurants are good for quick dinners and breakfasts. The only caveat is the elevator service. While we were there one had to wit in...

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
