I stayed here twice once back in the 90's and it was given a big facelift. I thought It was a really nice hotel. Lot to do great location, great food and customer service. Beds were really comfy. Thanks for the great stay !! I love Boston

Dear Jen B - Thanks for the review on TripAdvsior. The renovation process has been on going with lower and upper lobby, restaurant, banquet space, fitness facility and guest corridors done these past few years. Guest rooms and Concierge Lounge will be done this winter. I appreciate you making Long Wharf your home away from home these past years.

Ashley and Mark at the front desk were awesome...answered all questions and provided a great room. Ashley gave us several options for upgrade and personally took the time to show us our room. Jim and Mike at the front door are a Boston Institution! Great stay we will be back!

Most rooms are close enough to the atrium to hear the racket of happy tourists, group chants, sports cheers, etc. Really didn't enjoy the stay. Left a day early. The rooms are modern, with safe and fridge. Many rooms have good harbor views. The Starbucks is inundated by tourists on the wharf so hotel guests are not considered special.

Dear Ray F - thank you for staying with us and posting a review. I am sorry that you felt your room was too loud. Our atrium design does allow "white noise" to rise up to the guest floors. Our great location makes us a tourism hub for sure, as everything is around us.

This hotel is in a great location....right next to aquarium and many other places within walking distance. The views are spectacular. The concierge lounge staff seemed a little overwhelmed.....maybe there were a lot of people there earlier.....I'm not sure as I came late. No waters and he seemed frustrated that so many people wanted water.

Dear Lisa A - Thank you for your comments on TripAdvisor. My apologies regarding the lounge experience. I think the Lounge was busier than usual because of vacation week and our large number of Gold and Platinum Rewards Members staying with us, close to 50%. We are relocating it this winter in an effort to double our seating capacity and...

I stayed recently for a business conference and had a great stay. You can't beat the location on the beautiful Boston waterfront, just a short walk to Quincy Market, Faneuil Hall and great Italian restaurants and bakeries on Hanover Street. The hotel is very nice and very comfortable, and the staff was fantastic and friendly on every encounter. Our room...

Dear Vickie C - Thank you for the perfect 5 star review. It means a lot to our culinary team when we get praised for the quality of our Banquet team. Anyone can create one plate, it is an entirely different thing to cook for hundreds and still maintain restaurant quality. I hope to have you back with us soon.

A beautiful day in Boston but not at this hotel. The elite member concierge hotel was overrun by unruly children and their inconsiderate parents. Running and screaming through the halls.....felt sorry for the lounge staff who were working so hard without appreciation. I called the front desk to express my concerns. Room was ok...view is very nice.Screaming baby in the...

Dear Nava1203 - Thank you for your review on TripAdvisor. I am sorry for the poor experience that you had in our Concierge Lounge. I am unsure when you visited and the exact circumstances but can tell you that vacation week is typically a busy week for the hotel and we routinely see 50% of our guests are Platinum and...

Cheers to the staff of the Boston Marriott Long Wharf! My stay there was nothing but excellent. The staff was always available and the concierge was very helpful in recommending sight see tours and the breakfast buffet is awesome.

Stayed here while attending a convention, this hotel has a great location on the water. We had two rooms both rooms were nicely maintained, clean and comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful. In the warmer months it's especially nice because of the location.

I stayed here the night I sold my house in the area and got a great deal on priceline. Having lived here my whole life- I can tell you it's a tourists dream. It's on the water, across the street from Faneuil Hall, adjacent to the Blue Line aquarium stop & the aquarium itself as well as some of the...

After having to change from another hotel who gave away our room, we were pleasantly surprised by the customer service from Jeffrey at the front desk. Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
