The hotel is around the corner from the T, walking distance to shopping at the Prudential or Newbury, and near the Boston Common. It is also within walking distance to restaurants, such as Maggiano's where we ate. Au Beau Pna is next door, somit was our breakfast and lunch quick stop. We were there for the Women's March so it...

Ideal for our long weekend. Agree with some other reviews that the 'cozy' room pretty tight & certainly not enough hanging space but was ok for our short trip - bathroom not quite the smallest we have experienced! Overall found the staff & service in the lobby bar pretty efficient & friendly although they did struggle on the Saturday following...

The hotel overall is in great shape post-remodel. The bathrooms are still a weird set-up in that they are small compared tot he size of the room. Bed was great and didn't watch any TV but it was huge if I needed it.

I took advantage of the special winter rates and optional upgrade to stay in a superior upper floor room. I could not be more pleased with the amount of space in the room, the closet and the bathroom. The Park Plaza has been renovated and but still has the appropriate period appearance and feel of a turn-of-the Century Grand Hotel.

Stayed for a work trip. Hotel room was good quality, clean, and had all the necessary amenities. Check in staff friendly and quick. Had a high room with a little view of the city. Booked through an online travel agent, so had to pay an additional $18 a day "Service fee" for wifi and gym usage.

We booked this hotel early and once we arrived the concierge, using air quotes, told us that our room would be the size of a small box. Regardless of he was being candid or what, that remark bothered us, more insistence as to what that meant led to a manager, who did nothing to calm our fears. We eventually were...

We had a great stay at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel. It's been remodeled, so I don't know what it was like before, but it's a nice mix of rather elegant lobby/ main floor and very modern guest rooms. The room we had was immaculate, and the bed was very comfortable. We had easy walking access to several GREAT restaurants...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
