Reviewing the Copley while still here in the huge comfy bed. This place is great! Wonderfully attentive staff. Decor is lovely, modern and fresh. Great value for money and location is unbeatable. We have walked everywhere. Will stay here when I next visit Boston for sure and recommend others do the same.

This was my first time in Boston. My stay at the Copley was great. I would stay here again. I would also recommend this hotel to my friends and family. I stayed on the fifth floor in a deluxe king room. Had a nice view of Huntington St. and Copley Square. The guys on the front desk were very helpful....

Arrived earlier this week for a 4 night stay. Booked a king room through a third party site, which we thought was worth the extra money per night based on reviews bemoaning the small rooms. Check in was smooth and even though we arrived a few hours before the official check in time, our room was ready, or so we...

We booked this room thru Expedia's unpublished hotel rates where you committ to the room before you know where you are staying to get a better price. We got a great price for the area but were under no illusions about what the place might be like. It turned out to be a very nice stay. The staff were ulta-friendly....

Hotel was very centrally located. Can walk to shops, restaurants and the T. Room was small but clean and updated. Very comfortable and service was good for the most part. The concierge tried to be helpful put missed the mark on several occasions. Didn't know a lot and no follow through on several occasions. Wine in the evenings from 5-6 was...

we arrived on Aug 2, and problems began immediately. I made the reservation with a guarantee I'd have a cot in our 2 double-bed room, as there are 5 of us (3 kids and 2 adults), but no cot was available. before i made the reservation, i actually called the front desk and confirmed we could get a cot, and...

I recently took my elderly parents on their first trip to Boston. The Copley Square Hotel offered the perfect location with excellent access to historic landmarks and restaurants. The rooms were small but comfortable and well appointed. I am a hotel bed snob, and I found their beds particularly comfortable. Having done extensive research on hotel options in the area,...

Recently, my husband and I spend our 20th anniversary here. Granted, it is in a fantastic location. That's about all that I will say for it. For the amount of money that we spent, I would rather have stayed home. Upon check-in, we mentioned that it was our anniversary. The person at the front desk didn't care. Not that he...

I stayed at Copley Square Hotel for business because of a conference nearby. It was a nice hotel. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bedroom itself was very spacious. I loved the desk area and chaise lounge for unwinding after being on my feet all day. The only downside to the room I had was the size of the...

I recently stayed at this hotel for business. It is the second oldest hotel in Boston. Very quaint, has a boutique feel. They had a welcome reception with wine from 5-6pm that was nice. The restaurant owned by the hotel was not open for dinner, but we used it as an office to work as it was quiet. It did...

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
