Came to Boston on a short business trip and loved my stay at Eliot. It is a small historic hotel, so they don't have gym, but you get complementary passes; but staff is great; room is very clean; bathroom is modern and bed is comfortable; they also upgraded me to a sweet-what else can you wish for

Wow, is this hotel a hidden gem in the heart of Boston! It's close to the T, 1/2 block away, close to Boston Public Gardens, near MGH if you have a family member to visit, and all kinds of restaurants are less than 10mins walk away. Late night Ramen in their restaurant my first night here after walking around for...

This is a charming, wonderful hotel that is super centrally located. The staff is welcoming, courteous, accommodating and professional. The rooms are lovely with an updated traditional design. A welcome antidote to generic higher end properties. While it doesn't have all of the amenities of a high end chain (small bathroom, no pool or gym on site, limited restaurant facilities,...

We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite and it was fantastic! Having the sitting area to gather for late night catching up and morning coffee really contributed to our reunion. The hotel is really beautiful, clean and well kept for it's era and I appreciated the updated, even if small, bathrooms. The service was great from check in to check...

I cannot say enough about the fabulous Eliot Hotel. We adored our suite and we were so impressed by the attentiveness of the staff. What a gorgeous historic spot in a perfect location. The furnishings were beautiful, the bathroom so pretty, and the layout of the space so charming. Thank you!

Great location right at the top of Newbury Street. Reception staff were very helpful. For some reason however my credit card was charged a day after checkout with an amount I haven't signed on. The staff is almost entirely international.

Wonderful hotel, highly recommend. We were on our honeymoon and could not have been happier with our stay. The décor is very tasteful and inviting. Our suite was so comfortable and private we didn't want to leave. I know the rooms next to us were occupied based on the room service trays but we never heard a peep. It felt...

The staff here is a true example of service. An example of this is the cookies you receive at check in. I loved them and told the staff at the desk, the next day I had more cookies! Dropping off the key and picking it up at the front desk was alway easy and pleasant. The bellman are helpful with...

Our most recent stay at the Eliot Hotel did not disappoint. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. Service is unusually friendly and good at all levels. The hotel's location makes for an easy walk to the Museum of Fine Arts, Newbury St shopping, and good restaurants. I highly recommend the Eliot Hotel when you visit Boston.

I wish to thank this guest for taking the time to review her stay and am delighted she highly recommends the Eliot Hotel! It is true that the combination of "comfortable and spacious" suites, a super-convenient location in Boston's beautiful and elegant Back Bay, and above all, "service that is friendly and good at all levels," combine to help us...

We had a delightful two night stay at the Eliot over the weekend. There is something very special about the old world elegance of this hotel and I would highly recommend it. WE were always graciously greater at the door, check in was easy and the room was ready upon our arrival. We booked a suite and enjoyed the extra...

Staying in Fenway / Kenmore

Neighbourhood Profile
Fenway / Kenmore
The Curse of the Bambino may have ended years ago, but loyal Red Sox fans will continue to infiltrate this home to historic Fenway Park, where you can find victory banners, people yelling in stereotypical Boston accents, and lots of sports bars. Located within Kenmore Square, the old gas station Citgo sign is another Boston skyline classic seen throughout the city. In addition to a hectic and diehard sports mentality, this neighborhood is also home to some of Boston’s many universities. Move from Boston University territory to that of Northeastern, and spend time at the famous Museum of Fine Arts. For more culture, check out the smaller but equally beautiful Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Continue off the beaten path and check out the green space in the Back Bay Fens, a pretty community garden. This diverse neighborhood has a mix of universities, sports, culture, and more residential green space.
