Loved it. very centrally located we requested a view of the street with bay window. Easy walking distance to MANY restaurants and the "T". We personally enjoyed Joe's for dinner... a short walk Reserve your $30 per day parking in advance, as spots are limited. Coffee/tea/water available in the lobby. Staff were great. The lobby is charming. Although the view from our room was great, we sat in the lobby in the early morning enjoying complimentary coffee, just looking out a larger window surrounded by flowers. If ever in Boston, we will definitely return. And, the front desk was very helpful in directing us as to which "T" line to take to get us to Theo's for breakfast in the northend of town. There is a a 10% off code on their website which I could not figure out. When I called the office they were very helpful in assisting me. The room had some noise at night, but it died down 10:00. Hotel's Favourite
I hesitate to write this review because I don't really want the word to get out. This is a special place. Right on Newbury Street, the cozy lobby is made for people watching. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. The staff, warm, friendly and helpful. I will certainly be back!

Great central location on Newberry Street. Very clean and well appointed guest rooms. The staff was both knowledgeable and helpful parking is available behind the hotel, which is a great benefit. Cute French wine bar on the first floor we would definitely recommend!

The three restaurants we have in house are phenomenal as well. 1855 is the Wine bar located in the lobby, La Voille is the French restaurant that is located on the ground floor. The hotel in the Back Bay Area was very convenient with lots of restaurants. Our room was next to the elevator that caused the walls to shake and a little noisy. Also the air conditioning blows directly on the bed. The furniture was nice and included a fridge and safe. Coffee was available in the lobby not the room.

A charming guest house in an ideal location. Tasteful decor. Comfortable bed but shower stall a bit on the small size. Professional staff. Quiet room overlooking Newbury Street was a perfect home base for exploring the city on foot. Walked to the Freedom Trail, Fenway Park and Harvard.

This was our second time staying at Newbury Guest House. The location and hotel are both absolutely perfect. When visiting Boston, I would not even think about staying anywhere else. The neighborhood is amazing and the location is completely walkable to downtown Boston.

Have just stayed for daughter's graduation. Absolutely loved the Newbury Guest House. Room on top floor, very quiet and comfortable. Traditional and modern. Fantastic location, easy to walk everywhere. Buzz to the area but calm too. Staff very helpful and thoughtful. Would definitely stay again. Free coffee in the lobby, good to start the day or sit in the sun on the front step watching Boston come to life. Will be back.

The room was comfortable but with a lack of storage. It was clean and nicely presented. Staff were friendly and informative. Location is on the busy Newbury Street so don’t expect quiet especially as the hotel has a busy, noisy restaurant below it which we did not expect. Absolutely fine hotel but just ok for us as it was quite noisy and the windows and walls are thin.

We truly enjoyed our one night stay at the Newbury Guest House. Great location - close to everything in the Back Bay Area. Though the room was a bit on the smaller size, it was nicely furnished and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable and our room was quiet. Parking in the alley seemed a bit tricky, but the directions the hotel gave made the process much easier. The staff was very nice and extremely helpful. Would definitely stay again.
