This is a quaint boutique hotel located right on Newbury Street and within easy walking distance to the T. My room rate was $159 for one night and $!79 for two nights. Restaurants, shopping, and great walking destinations are right out the door.

Thank you so much for taking the time for your review and valuable feedback. Our thermostats have all been changed (most of us love sleeping in a cooler room so we always make sure our windows can be opened) and now the fan speed is...More
I had to stay in Boston for one night and needed a place convenient to a business event. I had never heard of—much less stayed at—the Newbury Guest House, but it was close to where I needed to be and the price was definitely right...More
I've just spent a week at the Newbury Guest House and was very impressed. It is a guest house, not a hotel, so understand what you are buying: smaller accommodation, more homely feel. However, I couldn't fault it and was particularly impressed how the small...More
First let me say, don't listen to the bad reviews. The staff was amazing. The woman Sadie was amazing, whatever we needed, she attended to us right away. More towels, suggesting a great place to eat, whatever it was she was there. I fell in...More
Located in beautiful Newbury Street, this guesthouse is the most perfect location for exploring glorious Boston. With all amenities at your fingertips, this is an understated, very clean and comfortable base. It is not glamorous or swish by any means. Breakfast is basic but satisfactory,...More
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice
weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.

Parking is available at a rate of $20.00 per night. We are a fairly quiet hotel and we typically host an older demographic; however, that's not to say that our hotel is not kid-friendly. Loud children may bother other guests, but we trust that you will respect our relaxing, quiet atmosphere as best you can.
I hope this answered your question.
