Hotel was very nice, however, the pillows were extremely uncomfortable. Temperature in room was never comfortable, it was either too hot or too cold. Stayed for a business conference, the breakfasts and lunches were delicious.

First time in Boston. Hotel met all of our expectations. Walking distance to Chinatown, parks, restaurants... we walked everywhere. Staff was accommodating and helpful, rooms clean and spacious. Will stay here again. Love Bean Town!

The hotel was very clean and a great location for tourists as well. Right around the corner is a nice area full of shops, and a ten minute can ride from the airport. I did try to check in early, room wasn't ready. Was told they would call me, but did not call, even though room was ready. Which really...

Given that this is a classy hotel in the heart of Boston's downtown, the location is the only thing it has going. The walls are so thin, be prepared to hear your neighbors conversations and music and secondarily sleep terribly. We notified the front desk of our concern, security was sent to the neighbors, and the noise did improve- but...

At the end of the day its just a hotel. What i like about this one are the rooms are all new, plenty of lighting, power outlets, a decent restaurant, a great grab-and-go area, etc. What is unusual for a Boston hotel is it has a steady clientele. Because of its downtown location it attracts a lot of local and...

The rooms are nice here and the hotel is located in the heart of the city. Great location. Walking Distance to Shopping and China Town and Park. They only draw back was parking in the garage was $40 and you couldn't come in or out or pay $50 to have in and out privileges. Hotel does not own garage so...

We stayed for the first time, we loved the hotel location and the area. The rooms were modern and clean. Great staff, friendly and helpful. The staff took the time to give recommendations for local fare and directions. The Hyatt is top notch! Highly recommended.

This hotel is centrally located within walking distance to most tourist attractions and has easy access to the subway. It was clean, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the WiFi was reliable, and the beds were very comfortable! The gym was well-equipped and there is a pool (although we found the temperature to be quite cold). Nearby are great...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
