My wife and I stayed here for our 2nd wedding anniversary. I am going to start things off with the bad. The beds are very stiff and need to be updated. Some of the things the the room also need to be spruced up. The good the location is excellent and is close to the subway or walking distance to...

This B&B is located on a shady, quite brick street with brownstones. It is about 2 blocks aways from the Bachbay station on the green line. It's a quick walk to Copley Plaza, the Prudential, Newburry and Boylston Street. A slightly longer walk will take you the the Public Gardens, Charles St and the downtown area. A very quick walk...

Verona's exceeded my expectations. The house is a beautiful Victorian with high ceilings and hardwood floors in an old and quiet Boston brownstone neighborhood. It is near the subway and the lively part of Tremont Street. I loved walking around the neighborhood. The room was large, airy (despite the Boston stuffy summer heat), elegantly furnished, and very very clean. I...

The location was excellent! The host was very helpful. We had to change rooms because we booked an entire week. Both rooms were clean and charming. The downside was the mattresses they were outdated and uncomfortable as well as the pillows. The wonderful sheets and comfortors helped. Would stay again but only for one night due to the mattress situation....

This B&B is in a great location, close to Copley Sq, yet in a quiet neighborhood. The owner is also quite hospitable. We were able to change our room to a second floor instead of the third which was a bit much for my husband's knees. We would stay there again in the future.

I stayed at 82 Clarendon on my own for a 5 week period over November/December 2011. The building is in a great part of the South End. I don't there is a better location in Boston for the price. Only 2 blocks from Back Bay station, 2 min walk to Tremont st, less than 10 min walk to Boylston St...

I spent in B&B Verona two great months . The house is located in a beautiful section of the South End in an old red brick house, which retains much of the original character of the placeand. It's very close to downtown (1 1/2 blocks from Back Bay Metro Station, 5-7 minutes from Copley Metro Station ). The room (5)...

Convenient location 1 1/2 blocks from Back Bay Metro Station, well appointed room with good firm mattress, and the staff was helpful. Had to leave early each AM, so was provided Juice, bagels with cream cheese and jelly...nice touch. TV reception was very limited, so went to local bar to watch NFL. More fun.

The house is located in a beautiful section of the South End. Just a wonderful location. Close to many restaurants, stores, the subway, and public parking. The room was just ok. We had a room with a private bath that was listed as a kitchenette. The room was spacious and somewhat clean, but maybe a bit worn down. It is...

Staying in South End

Neighbourhood Profile
South End
Stroll down the beautiful brownstone lined streets while capturing views of Boston’s tallest buildings from a distance. Some of Boston’s best restaurants are scattered around this neighborhood. There are many gems to be found, from jazz clubs to classy bars and restaurants. It is also home to art galleries, interesting boutiques, artsy stores and SOWA open market during the summer months. The South End is a true find in the city, with a more residential feeling than Back Bay.
