We had a very nice new years eve getaway here. Our rooms were very nice.clean, all the amenities. We had lunch in the lobby restaurant. Very reasonable prices. Breakfast the next morning was included with our room. Excellent. The upstairs dining room is beautiful. One thing about this place, most of the employees were just plain nice and sincere about...

We are usually go to the Four Seasons for afternoon tea but thought we would try something different this time around. We had played a good review on Boston.com and thought it would be a nice experience. The lounge where they serve afternoon tea is in the lobby which is hectic with activity. The tea arrived lukewarm, the tea sandwiches...

Stayed here numerous times for business. Fantastic hotel , outstanding service and food. The gym is small but well equipped. The breakfast was one of the best I have had in numerous business trips across the US and Europe. For the younger business traveller the Bond bar on Thursday/ Friday nights mean you don't have to leave your hotel if...

I've stayed here multiple times while on business. The location is convenient to the financial district, historical locations, lots of shopping, restaurants and bars. The staff is excellent. The rooms are spacious for a city location, very clean and the beds are comfortable. There is some hallway noise, typical in an older building. Overall, an excellent location.

The hotel and staff was exceptional. The Lobster mac and cheese in the restaurant was to die for. Great location and in walking distance to many historical sites. Would definitely stay there again when I am back in Boston.

Incredible hotel at the heart of Boston. Rooms are spacious and very well equiped and service is impecable. When in Boston my very firts choice. It has nice pubs and restaurants near bye. Tea at the lobby is a must. The spa and pool area are worth a visit if you have time.

Beautiful property, the old Federal Reserve Building, in downtown Boston. The only "negatives" is that it is approximately 0.5 miles to the nearest "T" stop at Downtown Crossing and that there are limited night-time establishments as this is primarily a business district. The rooms were relatively large with coffeemakers, the gym was not well supplied with e=weights and aerobic machines,...

From the moment you walk in you will be treated fabulously. Doormen are friendly and extremely helpful, check in staff are also very friendly and accommodating, and the cleaning crews do a fantastic job. The lobby is elegant in a welcoming not stuffy way. Afternoon Tea service in the lobby is a really nice treat if you have some time...

We chose to The Langham Boston after hearing excellent reviews of the properties. Upon entering, the lobby was stunning with crystal chandeliers and beautiful florals and had a very pleasant smell. We checked in without any delays. Once in the room, we noticed a smell in the room and after looking out the window we saw that we were right...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
